Description
以下、本発明の第1実施形態に係る試料作製装置について説明する。図1には、第1実施形態に係る試料作製装置10の概略構成が示されている。試料作製装置10は、顕微鏡で観察される試料を作製する装置である。試料作製装置10は、例えば試料冷却乾燥装置であり、微粒子を溶媒に分散した溶液を原液とする液滴(以下、「微粒子分散液滴」と記載する)を冷却しつつ、液滴の溶媒を乾燥させることで、微粒子試料を作製する。
以下、図5を参照して、第2実施形態に係る試料作製装置10Aについて説明する。図5には、第2実施形態に係る試料作製装置10Aの構成が示されている。
以下、図6を参照して、第3実施形態に係る試料作製装置10Bについて説明する。図6には、第3実施形態に係る試料作製装置10Bの構成が示されている。
Claims (9)
- 試料台が設けられる試料室を形成する下側構造体と、
前記試料室の上方にノズル室を形成する上側構造体と、
前記上側構造体と前記下側構造体との間に設けられ、開閉動作を行い、前記試料室と前記ノズル室とを仕切るゲートバルブと、
前記試料室内のガス圧力を制御する制御手段と、
を含み、
前記ノズル室には、試料を吐出するノズルにおける少なくともノズル先端開口部が臨んでおり、
前記制御手段は、前記ゲートバルブが開いて前記試料室と前記ノズル室とが連通するときに、前記試料室内のガス圧力が前記ノズル室内のガス圧力よりも高くなるよう関係を維持する、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項1に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記ノズルによって前記試料台に試料を滴下するときに、前記ゲートバルブを開いて前記試料室と前記ノズル室とを連通させる、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記試料室内のガス圧力が前記ノズル室内のガス圧力よりも高くなるように、前記試料室内への乾燥ガスの供給を制御する、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項3に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記ゲートバルブを開けた後に、前記試料室に乾燥ガスを供給して、前記試料室と前記ノズル室との間のガス圧力の前記関係を維持する、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記試料台を冷却する冷却手段を更に含み、
前記制御手段は、前記試料台が前記冷却手段によって冷却された上で、前記ゲートバルブを開ける前に、前記試料室のガス圧力が前記ノズル室のガス圧力よりも高くなるようにガス圧力を制御する、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項5に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記試料室を減圧する真空装置を更に含み、
前記制御手段は、前記ゲートバルブが閉じている状態で、前記真空装置によって前記試料室内を減圧し、前記冷却手段によって前記試料台を冷却し、前記試料室内に乾燥ガスを供給し、その上で、前記試料室と前記ノズル室との間のガス圧力の関係を形成してから、前記ゲートバルブを開ける、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記上側構造体と前記下側構造体との間で前記ノズルを搬送する搬送機構を更に含み、
前記上側構造体は、前記ノズルの運動に伴って変形する変形部材を含む、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項7に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記ゲートバルブの周囲において前記ゲートバルブの開口を囲むように配置された硬質のフレームを更に含み、
前記変形部材は、前記フレームの開口縁から前記ノズルの周囲までを封止する袋状の部材である、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。 - 請求項1から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の試料作製装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記ノズルによって前記試料台に試料を滴下する工程と、前記試料台に試料を滴下した後、前記試料室内を減圧して真空乾燥を行う工程と、を更に制御する、
ことを特徴とする試料作製装置。
