Description
第1実施形態による熱エネルギー回収装置1は、エンジン付き車両で発生する熱エネルギーを回収して発電を行う発電システムとして構成されている。熱エネルギー回収装置1は、図1に示すように、ポンプ8と、蒸発器10と、膨張機14と、発電機16と、凝縮器6と、制御器18と、を備えている。ポンプ8、蒸発器10、膨張機14及び凝縮器6は、この順で循環流路4に設けられている。循環流路4には作動媒体及び油が封入されている。作動媒体としては、例えばR245fa(1,1,1,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロパン)等の沸点の低い冷媒が用いられる。したがって、本発電システムは、比較的低温のエンジン排熱から動力を回収するバイナリー発電方式となっている。そして、ポンプ8と蒸発器10と膨張機14と凝縮器6とが設けられた循環流路4は、ランキンサイクルを構成している。油は、膨張機14内の後述する軸受の潤滑のため、あるいは膨張機14内の各部位のシールのために用いられる。
図7は本発明の第2実施形態を示す。尚、ここでは第1実施形態と同じ構成要素には同じ符号を付し、その詳細な説明を省略する。

Claims (12)
- 蒸発器と膨張機と凝縮器とポンプとが設けられた循環流路と、
前記ポンプの回転数の制御を行う制御器と、を備え、
前記蒸発器で蒸発した作動媒体と油との混合媒体が前記膨張機に導入されて、前記膨張機が駆動される熱エネルギー回収装置であって、
前記制御器は、前記蒸発器の熱負荷に応じて前記ポンプの回転数を制御する熱負荷制御と、前記熱負荷制御による前記ポンプの回転数よりも高められた回転数で前記ポンプを駆動する油戻し制御とを実行可能であり、
前記油戻し制御は、前記蒸発器で蒸発した作動媒体から分離した油の溜まり具合に関する予め設定された油溜まり条件又は前記蒸発器における所定以下の低負荷に関する予め設定された低負荷条件が成立したときに実行される、熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記油溜まり条件において用いられる前記油の溜まり具合は、接続空間における油溜まり具合であり、
前記接続空間は、前記蒸発器の熱交換部よりも下流側に設けられた蒸発器内の下流空間と、前記膨張機の供給ポートの上流側に位置する流入路と、前記下流空間及び前記流入路に連通するように前記蒸発器及び前記膨張機を接続する主管路と、を含む、請求項1に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記接続空間は、前記膨張機内において前記主管路の接続口及び前記流入路に連通すると共に、前記流入路よりも下方に位置する油溜りを有している、請求項2に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。
- 前記流入路が、前記膨張機における前記主管路の接続口から前記供給ポートに向かって前記膨張機の軸方向に沿って設けられており、
前記接続空間は、前記膨張機内において前記主管路の接続口及び前記流入路に連通すると共に、前記流入路よりも下方に位置する油溜りを有している、請求項2に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記接続空間において油の溜り具合を検知する油検知器を備え、
前記制御器は、前記油検知器の検知結果に基づいて前記油溜まり条件が成立した場合に、前記熱負荷制御を前記油戻し制御に切り替えるように構成されている、請求項2から4の何れか1項に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記油溜まりに溜まった油を検知する油検知器を備え、
前記制御器は、前記油検知器が、前記油溜まりに溜まった油の量が所定のレベル以下であることを検知したことに基づいて、前記熱負荷制御を前記油戻し制御に切り替えるように構成されている、請求項3又は4に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記蒸発器の熱負荷の状態を直接的または間接的に検知する熱負荷状態検知手段と、
前記熱負荷状態検知手段によって検出された熱負荷が所定値以下の部分負荷となっている時間をカウントする計時手段と、を備え、
前記制御器は、前記計時手段がカウントした時間が所定時間以上になると前記低負荷条件が成立したとして、前記熱負荷制御を前記油戻し制御に切り替えるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記膨張機内における給油箇所が、前記膨張機の供給ポートに連通すると共に前記膨張機の排出ポートに連通しており、
前記給油箇所での圧力が、前記膨張機の供給ポートでの圧力と前記膨張機の排出ポートでの圧力との間の圧力となっている、請求項1又は7に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記膨張機は、スクリュロータと、前記スクリュロータの軸を回転自在に支持する軸受とを備えており、
前記給油箇所が前記軸受である、請求項8に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記蒸発器は、熱交換部と、前記熱交換部よりも下流側に位置する下流空間とを有し、
前記循環流路は、前記蒸発器及び前記膨張機を接続する主管路を有し、
前記蒸発器の前記下流空間における前記主管路の接続部よりも下側に接続された一端と、前記膨張機に接続された他端とを有する油戻し管路が設けられている、請求項1に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。 - 前記油戻し管路は、前記主管路よりも細い管路となっている、請求項10に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。
- 前記蒸発器の熱交換部の一次側流路が、エンジン付き車両におけるエンジン冷却用の冷却水が流れる冷却水流路に接続されている、請求項1から11の何れか1項に記載の熱エネルギー回収装置。
