- 開口部が形成されたケース本体と、前記開口部を閉塞するように前記ケース本体に溶接
された蓋とを含む収容ケースと、
前記蓋の外表面に設けられた外部端子と、
電極を含み、前記収容ケース内に設けられた電極体と、
前記収容ケース内に設けられ、前記電極に接続された集電端子と、
前記収容ケース内に設けられており、前記収容ケース内の内圧が所定圧になると、前記外部端子および前記集電端子の電気的な接続を遮断する電流遮断装置と、
を備え、
前記蓋には、外方に向けて突出する突出部が形成されており、
前記電流遮断装置の少なくとも一部は、前記突出部内に配置され、
前記外部端子は、前記蓋上に配置されると共に、上面の一部が平坦面状とされた底板および前記底板の外周縁から立ち上がるように形成された周壁部を含むインシュレータと、上方に突出する端子とを含み、
前記インシュレータは、前記底板および前記底板の外周縁から立ち上がるように形成された周壁部を含み、前記周壁部は、前記突出部上に位置する第1部分と、前記第1部分から張り出すように形成されると共に、前記第1部分よりも厚く形成され前記端子が配置された第2部分を含み、
前記インシュレータの前記底板の下面には、前記第1部分から前記第2部分に亘って段差部が形成された、蓄電装置。
