Claims (12)
- 点火プラグ用の絶縁体を製造する方法であって、
少なくとも2つの原材料を混合して粉末状絶縁体製剤を形成する工程と、
前記粉末状絶縁体製剤を噴霧乾燥する工程と、
前記粉末状絶縁体製剤をプレスして絶縁体ブランクを生成する工程と、
前記絶縁体ブランクを締焼する工程と、
前記締焼された絶縁体ブランクを研磨して前記絶縁体を形成する工程と、
前記絶縁体を焼結する工程と
を備え、
前記粉末状絶縁体製剤は、酸化アルミニウムと、少なくとも1つのバインダと、を含有しており、前記締焼する工程の間に前記バインダの少なくとも60%が取り除かれ、
前記絶縁体を製造する方法は更に、前記締焼する工程の間に前記絶縁体ブランクの粒子を融合する工程を備える、
製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法であって、
前記締焼工程は、約450℃以上、約1200℃以下のピーク温度まで前記粉末状絶縁体を加熱する工程を備える
製造方法。 - 請求項2に記載の製造方法であって、
前記締焼工程は、約750℃以上、約1000℃以下のピーク温度まで前記粉末状絶縁体を加熱する工程を備える
製造方法。 - 請求項3に記載の製造方法であって、
前記焼結工程は、約1400℃以上、約1700℃以下のピーク温度まで前記絶縁体を加熱する工程を備える
製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法であって、
前記締焼工程中に、前記バインダの全てが取り除かれる
製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法であって、
前記絶縁体ブランクの粒子の平均サイズは、約2ミクロン以下である
製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法であって、
前記焼結工程は、約1400℃以上、約1700℃以下のピーク温度まで前記絶縁体を加熱する工程を備える
製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法であって、
前記少なくとも2つの原材料は、酸化アルミニウムと、少なくとも1つのバインダと、を含む
製造方法。 - 点火プラグ用の絶縁体を製造する方法であって、
少なくとも、酸化アルミニウムと、少なくとも1つのバインダと、を混合して粉末状絶縁体製剤を形成する工程を備え、
前記粉末状絶縁体製剤の平均粒径は、約2ミクロン以下であり、
前記製造方法は、さらに、
前記粉末状絶縁体製剤を噴霧乾燥する工程と、
前記粉末状絶縁体製剤をプレスして絶縁体ブランクを生成する工程と、
約450℃以上、約1200℃以下のピーク温度まで前記絶縁体ブランクを締焼する工程と、
前記締焼された絶縁体ブランクを研磨して前記絶縁体を形成する工程と、
前記絶縁体を焼結する工程と
を備え、
前記締焼する工程の間に前記バインダの少なくとも60%が取り除かれ、
前記絶縁体を製造する方法は更に、前記締焼する工程の間に前記絶縁体ブランクの粒子を融合する工程を備える、
製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載の製造方法であって、
前記締焼工程は、約750℃以上、約1000℃以下のピーク温度まで前記粉末状絶縁体を加熱する工程を備える
製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載の製造方法であって、
前記締焼工程中に、前記バインダの全てが取り除かれる
製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載の製造方法であって、
前記焼結工程は、約1400℃以上、約1700℃以下のピーク温度まで前記絶縁体を加熱する工程を備える
