エポキシ樹脂成分
Dは、それぞれ独立して、−S−、−S−S−、−SO−、−SO2−、−CO2−、−CO−、−O−、C1〜C10アルキレン、C1〜C5アルキレンまたはC1〜C3アルキレン、例えば、−CH2−または−C(CH3)2−を表し、
Yは、それぞれ独立して、ハロゲン、例えば、F、Cl、BrまたはI、または場合により置換されていてもよい一価C1〜C10炭化水素基、例えば、場合により置換されていてもよいメチル、エチル、ビニル、プロピル、アリルまたはブチルを表し、
mは、それぞれ独立して、0、1、2、3または4を表し、
nは、0〜4の整数、例えば、0、1、2、3または4を表す。
ポットライフ試験は、本開示のエポキシ樹脂塗料の似成分を混合し、得られた混合物を20±1℃の室温に置き、その系の粘度が、初期粘度の最大でも2倍に達するまでの期間を決定することによって行われた。
次いで、塩水噴霧試験を受けたパネルを、膨れ評価を用いたクロスハッチ接着試験によって、耐腐食性について分析した。GB/T1771規格では、膨れは、0〜10のスケールで評価され、膨れ評価0は、10面積%未満のコーティング膨れを表し、膨れ評価10は、100面積%のコーティング膨れを表し、膨れ評価6は、60面積%以上70面積%未満のコーティング膨れを意味する。コーティングの膨れ面積が大きいほど、そのコーティングがより低い耐腐食性を有することを示す。
ポリアミド硬化剤の調製
室温で、1,4−ジアミノ−シクロヘキサン、エチレンジアミン、m−フェニレンジアミンの重量比1:1:1の混合物150gと、Union Campから入手可能なNo.14のダイマー酸100gを、温度計、トップスターラー、気体注入口および蒸留ユニットを取り付けた4ッ口フラスコに加えた。得られた反応混合物を100〜120℃まで加熱した。共沸蒸留により、生成した水を反応混合物から除去した。反応水が生成しなくなったら、反応を止めた。得られた生成物は、本発明のポリアミド硬化剤と決定される。
室温で、1,4−ジアミノ−シクロヘキサン、エチレンジアミン、m−フェニレンジアミンの重量比1:1:1の混合物150gと、1:1ホルムアルデヒドフェノール付加物100gを、温度計、トップスターラー、気体注入口および蒸留ユニットを取り付けた4ッ口フラスコに加えた。得られた反応混合物を100〜105℃まで加熱した。共沸蒸留により、生成した水を反応混合物から除去した。反応水が生成しなくなったら、反応を止めた。得られた生成物は、本発明のマンニッヒ塩基硬化剤と決定される。
混合容器に、上で調製したポリアミド硬化剤とマンニッヒ塩基硬化剤を重量比1:1で混合し、得られた混合物に1%のDMP30を添加し、これによって、本発明のアミン成分を得た。
混合容器に、ビスフェノールAエポキシ樹脂45.5kgと、液状石油樹脂15kgと、1〜3%のリン酸亜鉛、3〜6%のタルク粉末、0.6〜1.3%のイオン交換シリカ、15〜25%の沈殿硫酸バリウム、3〜6%のウォラストナイトを含むフィラーパッケージ35kgと、0.1〜5%のポリエーテル変性有機シロキサン95〜99.9%の酢酸ブチルを含むさらなる添加剤0.5kgと、エタノールを加え、均一になるまで800〜1000rpmで撹拌しつつ混合し、それによって本発明のエポキシ樹脂成分を得た。
塗布前に、上で調製したエポキシ樹脂成分とアミン成分を重量比100:12で混合し、そのポットライフを調べた。試験後、この二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料は、20℃でのポットライフが6時間であった。
コーティング配合物
上で調製したエポキシ樹脂成分と市販のポリアミド硬化剤を重量比100:12で混合し、そのポットライフを調べた。試験後、この二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料は、20℃でのポットライフが10時間であった。
上で調製したエポキシ樹脂成分と市販のマンニッヒ塩基硬化剤を重量比100:12で混合し、そのポットライフを調べた。試験後、この二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料は、20℃でのポットライフが7時間であった。
適量の上述の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料を、乾燥膜厚が約50μmのコーティングが作られるように、パネルにスプレー塗装した。試験方法に記載されている通り、50℃での低温硬化時間、40℃での高温硬化時間、コーティングの耐塩水噴霧性を測定し、以下の表2に列挙した。
[1] 二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料であって、
(a)エポキシ樹脂成分と、
(b)エポキシ樹脂成分を硬化させるためのアミン成分とを含み、このアミン成分は、
(i)少なくとも1つのポリアミド硬化剤と、
(ii)少なくとも1つのマンニッヒ塩基硬化剤とを含み、
ポリアミド硬化剤およびマンニッヒ塩基硬化剤のうち少なくとも1つが、少なくとも1つの脂環式多官能アミンを含む1つ以上の多官能アミンから誘導され、
この脂環式多官能アミンが、多官能アミンの総量に対して30重量%以上の量で存在し、エポキシ樹脂成分(a)とアミン成分(b)との重量比が、100:8〜100:20である、二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[2] 前記脂環式多官能アミンが、前記多官能アミンの総量に対して40重量%以上の量で存在する、[1]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[3] 前記脂環式多官能アミンが、少なくとも1つのシクロヘキシル、シクロヘプチル、シクロペンチルまたはこれらの組み合わせを含有する多官能アミンを含む、[1]または[2]のいずれか一項に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[4] 前記マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤と前記ポリアミド硬化剤との重量比が、10:90〜90:10である、[1]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[5] 前記ポリアミド硬化剤は、アミン価が100mg KOH/硬化剤(g)以上であり、当該ポリアミド硬化剤の総重量に対して1重量%以上のエチレン性不飽和官能基を含む、[1]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[6] 前記ポリアミド硬化剤は、25℃での粘度が2000mPa・s以上である、[5]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[7] 前記マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤は、アミン価が150mg KOH/硬化剤(g)以上であり、当該マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤の総重量に対して1重量%以上のフェノール性ヒドロキシ基を含む、[1]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[8] 前記マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤は、25℃での粘度が2000mPa・s以上である、[7]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[9] 前記アミン成分が、さらに、三級アミン含有基およびフェノール性ヒドロキシ基から選択される硬化促進剤を含む、[1]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[10] 前記エポキシ樹脂成分が、当該エポキシ樹脂成分の総重量に対して、
10〜85重量%のエポキシ樹脂と、
1〜20重量%の液体石油樹脂と、
5〜70重量%のフィラーパッケージと、
湿潤分散剤、消泡剤、増粘剤、艶消し剤、溶媒、顔料、またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、0〜15重量%のさらなる添加剤とを含む、[1]〜[9]のいずれか一項に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[11] 前記エポキシ樹脂は、エポキシ価が0.1当量/エポキシ樹脂100g以上であり、エポキシ価は、100gのエポキシ樹脂に含まれるエポキシ官能基のモル数であると定義される、[10]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[12] 前記エポキシ樹脂は、25℃での粘度が10000mPa・s以下である、[10]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[13] 前記エポキシ樹脂が、多価フェノールのジグリシジルエーテル、ポリアルコールのジグリシジルエーテル、またはノボラック樹脂のポリグリシジルエーテル、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、[10]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[14] 前記エポキシ樹脂が、式(I):
式中、Dは、それぞれ独立して、−S−、−S−S−、−SO−、−SO2−、−CO2−、−CO−、−O−またはC1〜C10アルキレンを表し、Yは、それぞれ独立して、ハロゲンを表すか、または場合により置換されていてもよい一価C1〜C10炭化水素基を表し、mは、それぞれ独立して、0、1、2、3または4を表し、nは、0〜4の整数を表す、[13]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[15] 前記液体石油樹脂は、分子量が2000g/mol以下である、[10]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[16] 前記フィラーパッケージは、当該フィラーパッケージの総重量に対して、
1〜5重量%の1つ以上の防錆剤と、
5〜40重量%の1つ以上のケイ酸塩と、
10〜40重量%の1つ以上の硫酸塩と、
0〜25重量%の1つ以上の炭酸塩と、
0〜20重量%の1つ以上の二酸化ケイ素を含む、[10]に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
[17] プライマー、トップコート、中間コートまたはDTMコーティングである、[1]〜[16]のいずれか一項に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
Claims (17)
- (a)エポキシ樹脂成分と、
(b)エポキシ樹脂成分を硬化させるためのアミン成分と、
を含み、エポキシ樹脂成分(a)とアミン成分(b)との重量比が、100:8〜100:20である、二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料であって、
このアミン成分は、
(i)少なくとも1つのポリアミド硬化剤と、
(ii)少なくとも1つのマンニッヒ塩基硬化剤と、
を含み、ポリアミド硬化剤およびマンニッヒ塩基硬化剤のそれぞれが、少なくとも1つの脂環式多官能アミンを含む1つ以上の多官能アミンから誘導され、この脂環式多官能アミンが、多官能アミンの総量に対して30重量%以上の量で存在する、二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。 - 前記脂環式多官能アミンが、前記多官能アミンの総量に対して40重量%以上の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記脂環式多官能アミンが、少なくとも1つのシクロヘキシル、シクロヘプチル、シクロペンチルまたはこれらの組み合わせを含有する多官能アミンを含む、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤と前記ポリアミド硬化剤との重量比が、10:90〜90:10である、請求項1に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記ポリアミド硬化剤は、アミン価が100mg KOH/硬化剤(g)以上であり、当該ポリアミド硬化剤の総重量に対して1重量%以上のエチレン性不飽和官能基を含む、請求項1に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記ポリアミド硬化剤は、25℃での粘度が2000mPa・s以上である、請求項5に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤は、アミン価が150mg KOH/硬化剤(g)以上であり、当該マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤の総重量に対して1重量%以上のフェノール性ヒドロキシ基を含む、請求項1に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記マンニッヒ塩基硬化剤は、25℃での粘度が2000mPa・s以上である、請求項7に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記アミン成分が、さらに、三級アミン含有基およびフェノール性ヒドロキシ基から選択される硬化促進剤を含む、請求項1に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記エポキシ樹脂成分が、当該エポキシ樹脂成分の総重量に対して、
10〜85重量%のエポキシ樹脂と、
1〜20重量%の液体石油樹脂と、
5〜70重量%のフィラーパッケージと、

- 前記エポキシ樹脂が、多価フェノールのジグリシジルエーテル、ポリアルコールのジグリシジルエーテル、またはノボラック樹脂のポリグリシジルエーテル、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項10に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記液体石油樹脂は、分子量が2000g/mol以下である、請求項10に記載の二成分エポキシ樹脂塗料。
- 前記フィラーパッケージは、当該フィラーパッケージの総重量に対して、
1〜5重量%の1つ以上の防錆剤と、
5〜40重量%の1つ以上のケイ酸塩と、
10〜40重量%の1つ以上の硫酸塩と、
0〜25重量%の1つ以上の炭酸塩と、
