Description
図1には、本実施形態のタイヤ1のトレッド部2の展開図が示されている。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、乗用車用や重荷重用の空気入りタイヤ、及び、タイヤの内部に加圧された空気が充填されない非空気式タイヤ等の様々なタイヤに用いることができる。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、重荷重用の空気入りタイヤとして好適に使用される。
装着リム:22.5×8.25
タイヤ内圧:830kPa
テスト車両:10tトラック、荷台中央に標準積載量の50%の荷物を積載
テストタイヤ装着位置:全輪
ティアを容易に発生させるために、タイヤ温度を80℃で5日間保持された後のテストタイヤが用いられた。このテストタイヤを装着した上記テスト車両で定常円旋回してタイヤ温度を60℃にした後、高さ10cmの縁石に、その長さ方向に対して10°の角度で進入して乗り上げるのを複数回実施し、ショルダー陸部にティアが発生するまでの縁石乗り上げ回数が測定された。結果は、比較例のタイヤを100とする指数であり、数値が大きい程、耐ティア性能が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両で48000km走行したときのショルダー主溝のタイヤ軸方向内側の溝縁とタイヤ軸方向外側の溝縁との摩耗量の差が測定された。結果は、比較例を100とする指数であり、数値が小さい程、耐偏摩耗性能が優れていることを示す。
テスト結果が表1に示される。

Claims (6)
- トレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部には、トレッド端側でタイヤ周方向に連続してのびるショルダー主溝が設けられ、
前記ショルダー主溝は、タイヤ軸方向内側の内側溝壁と、タイヤ軸方向外側の外側溝壁とを有し、
前記内側溝壁は、溝横断面でのトレッド法線に対する角度θ1がタイヤ周方向に周期的に増減を繰り返すことにより、前記ショルダー主溝の溝中心から遠ざかる凹壁部と、前記ショルダー主溝の溝中心に近付く凸壁部とをタイヤ周方向に交互に含み、
前記外側溝壁は、溝横断面でのトレッド法線に対する角度θ2がタイヤ周方向に周期的に増減を繰り返すことにより、前記内側溝壁の前記凹壁部と向き合いかつ前記ショルダー主溝の溝中心に近付く凸壁部と、前記内側溝壁の前記凸壁部と向き合いかつ前記ショルダー主溝の溝中心から遠ざかる凹壁部とをタイヤ周方向に交互に含み、
前記ショルダー主溝のいずれの溝横断面においても、前記外側溝壁の前記角度θ2は、前記内側溝壁の前記角度θ1よりも大きいタイヤ。 - 前記ショルダー主溝の各溝縁は、タイヤ周方向に沿って直線状にのび、
前記ショルダー主溝の溝底面と前記内側溝壁とが交わる内側溝底縁と、前記溝底面と前記外側溝壁とが交わる外側溝底縁とは、互いに同じ位相でタイヤ周方向に波状にのびている請求項1記載のタイヤ。 - 前記外側溝底縁の振幅は、前記内側溝底縁の振幅よりも大きい請求項2記載のタイヤ。
- 前記角度θ2と前記角度θ1との差は、2〜13°である請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記角度θ1は、7〜10°である請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記角度θ2は、12〜20°である請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
