Description
本出願は、それらの内容が、その全体として参照によって本明細書に援用される、2010年6月14日に出願された、「手術器具、システムおよび使用方法(Surgical Instruments,Systems and Methods of Use)」というタイトルの米国特許仮出願第61/354,516号、および2011年6月14日に出願された、「手術器具、システムおよび使用方法(Surgical Instruments,Systems and Methods of Use)」というタイトルの米国特許出願第13/160,445号に対する優先権を主張する。
本発明は、概して手術器具に、さらに詳細には、臓器の表面を係合するために有用な手術器具、例としては、臓器スタビライザー器具および臓器ポジショナー器具ならびにそれらの関連の構成要素に関する。
心血管系の疾患は、毎年数百万人に罹患し、世界中で主要な死亡原因となっている。このような疾患による社会的被害は、人命の損失数という点でも、従来の外科的技術による患者の治療費という点でも甚大である。特によく見られる循環系疾患の形態は、心臓に血液を供給する循環系の臨界点で血流が抑制される、アテローム性動脈硬化またはその他の状態によって引き起こされる心臓への供給血量の減少である。
この架台本体は、チューブを取り外し可能に保持するように構成されている。
ヒトの心臓の表面を係合するように構成された作用末端であって、この作用末端は、上記可塑性のアームの遠位端に連結されている、作用末端と;上記可塑性のアームの近位端と、架台本体との間で架台本体角度を形成する架台本体接合部であって、最小の架台本体角度は、多くても120度超であり、ここで参照角は、任意の2つのストレスを加えられていない関節接合性の接合部材の間の180度として規定される、架台本体接合部。
本発明の装置および方法を説明する前に、本発明が、本明細書に記載する特定の実施形態に限定されず、当然ながら、それ自体として変形し得ることが理解されるべきである。
また、本発明の範囲は添付の請求項によってのみ限定されるので、本明細書に用いられる用語は特定の実施形態を説明するためのものに過ぎず、本発明を限定するためのものではないことも理解されるべきである。
Claims (15)
- 手術器具であって、
上部分、遠位端、近位端および底部分を有する架台本体と、
接合部材であって、前記接合部材は、前記接合部材から遠位に伸びるアームの近位部分の位置決めを可能にするように、前記架台本体の遠位端部分に枢動可能に取り付けられ、前記接合部材は、ある平面に対する前記アームの近位部分の動きを少なくとも部分的に制約するように構成され、前記接合部材は、ディスク部材と、前記ディスク部材に接続されたスロット付きボールとを備える、接合部材と、
前記アームの遠位端部分に取り付けられた作用末端と、
前記作用末端が固定されるボール部分を受容するように寸法決めされた開口部と、前記ボール部分と前記作用末端との間に配置されるステムを受容するように寸法決めされたスロットとを備えるソケット部材と、
前記架台本体の近位端に向かって前記架台本体に対して回転自在に取り付けられたアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータから前記架台本体、前記接合部材、前記スロット付きボールおよび前記アームを通じて伸びるケーブルであって、前記アクチュエータおよび前記ケーブルは、前記アクチュエータの第一の方向の動きによっては可塑性状態から硬質状態へ、前記アクチュエータの前記第一の方向とは反対である第二の方向の動きによっては硬質状態から可塑性状態へ、前記アームの状態を変化させるように構成される、ケーブルと、
を備える、器具。 - 前記ディスク部材が、偏揺に対する前記アームの近位部分の動きを制限する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記スロット付きボールが、縦揺れに対する前記アームの近位部分の動きを制限する、請求項1または2に記載の器具。
- 前記アクチュエータの動きが回転を伴い、前記第一の方向が第一の回転方向であり、かつ、前記第二の方向が、前記第一の回転方向に対して反対回転方向である、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記スロット付きボールが、前記アームの近位端と接合部を形成する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記ディスク部材の上面および下面が、前記架台本体の上部分と平行に伸び、前記スロット付きボールが、前記ディスク部材の上面および下面に対して平行な面から角度的に下向きの位置に旋回することができる、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記器具が、前記作用末端と液体連絡されている真空チューブをさらに備え、前記作用末端が、ヒトの心臓の外面に対して可逆的に結合されるように構成される、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記器具が臓器スタビライザーであり、かつ、前記作用末端が、組織表面を安定化するために前記組織表面に対して影響を与えるように構成された少なくとも1つの接触部材を備える、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の器具。
- 前記器具が臓器ポジショナーであり、かつ、前記作用末端がその中に真空空間を規定する吸引部材を備え、前記吸引部材がヒトの心臓の心尖を受容するように構成される、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の器具。
- 前記底部分が、固定物に対して前記器具を可逆的にクランプするように構成された取り付け機構を備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記取り付け機構が、固定ジョーおよび可動式ジョーを備え、取り付け機構アクチュエータが、前記底部分内でかつ少なくとも部分的に前記可動式ジョーの上で枢動可能に取り付けられ、前記取り付け機構アクチュエータが、ロックされていない位置からロックされた位置へ前記可動式ジョーを移動させ、かつ、ロックされた位置からロックされていない位置へ前記可動式ジョーを移動させるように構成される、請求項10に記載の器具。
- 前記アームが中間リンクを備え、前記中間リンクが、可塑性構成を第一の構成において呈するように、かつ、硬質構成を第二の構成において呈するように、前記中間リンクの遠位にある前記アームの一部を調節するためにユーザーによって調節可能である、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記アームが中間リンクを備え、前記中間リンクが、可塑性構成を第一の構成において呈するように、かつ、硬質構成を第二の構成において呈するように、前記中間リンクの近位にある前記アームの一部を調節するためにユーザーによって調節可能である、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記上部分が、平滑であり、かつ、その上に全く障害物を有しない平坦な部分を備え、前記上部分が、外科医の手を安定化することを補助するために用いることができる、前記外科医の手用の休憩台を提供する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記ディスク部材が、前記スロット付きボールを通過する配向面を有する、請求項1に記載の器具。
