Abstract
Description
尚、上記式において、Zoxはインピーダンス、dはプラグ側中心コンタクトの直径、Dはハウジング可動部の直径、εrはハウジング可動部の材質による誘電率である。
の中心コンタクトとコネクタ基部の中心導体とを別個に形成し、ハウジング可動部に対し
コネクタ本体を軸方向及び径方向で移動可能としたことにより、中心コンタクトと中心導
体とを互いに移動可能且つ電気的に接続する構造を必要とし、構造が複雑化するという問
題があった。
品点数が少なく、且つ小型化が可能であって、高周波性能に優れたフローティング機構付
き同軸コネクタの提供を目的としてなされたものである。
前記プラグ側シェルには、前記プラグ側中心コンタクト及び前記プラグ側絶縁体が保持されるシェル本体と、該シェル本体に揺動可能に支持され、前記ソケット側シェルと嵌合する可動シェルとを備え、前記シェル本体には、ソケット側端面に開口し、前記ハウジング可動部が挿入される挿入用凹部を備え、該挿入用凹部を形成する前記シェル本体の肉厚部が固定シールド壁を成し、該固定シールド壁の外側に前記可動シェルが配置されていることにある。

Claims (3)
- 相互に接続されるプラグとソケットとを備えた同軸コネクタであって、
前記プラグには、中央に配置されたプラグ側中心コンタクトと、該プラグ側中心コンタクトの外側に配置されたプラグ側シェルと、前記プラグ側中心コンタクトとプラグ側シェルとの間に介在させたプラグ側絶縁体とを備え、
前記ソケットには、中央に配置されたソケット側中心コンタクトと、実装基板、電子機器筐体又は同軸ケーブルに固定されるハウジング基部と、該ハウジング基部のプラグ側端面上を前記ソケット側中心コンタクトとともに径方向に移動可能なハウジング可動部と、前記ハウジング基部の外側を覆うソケット側シェルとを備え、
前記プラグ側中心コンタクトと前記ソケット側中心コンタクトとが接続されるとともに、前記プラグ側シェルと前記ソケット側シェルとが接続されるようにしたフローティング機構付き同軸コネクタにおいて、
前記ソケット側シェルは、前記ハウジング基部の外周を覆う継ぎ目の無い外周壁部と、前記外周壁部の上縁に一体に支持された円環状の上面遮蔽部とを備え、
前記プラグ側シェルには、前記プラグ側中心コンタクト及び前記プラグ側絶縁体が保持されるシェル本体と、該シェル本体に揺動可能に支持され、前記ソケット側シェルと嵌合する可動シェルとを備え、
前記シェル本体には、ソケット側端面に開口し、前記ハウジング可動部が挿入される挿入用凹部を備え、
該挿入用凹部を形成する前記シェル本体の肉厚部が固定シールド壁を成し、該固定シールド壁の外側に前記可動シェルが配置されていることを特徴とするフローティング機構付き同軸コネクタ。 - 前記ソケットは、一端が前記ハウジング基部に固定され、他端が前記ハウジング可動部に固定されたフローティング用バネ体を備え、
前記フローティング用バネ体には、前記ハウジング基部に固定される支持固定部と、前記ハウジング可動部に固定されるフローティング固定部と、前記支持固定部と前記フローティング固定部とを連結する弾性変形可能な揺動バネ部とを備え、
前記ハウジング可動部が前記フローティング用バネ体を介して前記ハウジング基部に移動可能に支持されている請求項1に記載のフローティング機構付き同軸コネクタ。 - 前記ソケット側中心コンタクトは、前記ハウジング可動部とともに移動する接触部と、実装基板に接続される基板接続端子片とを備え、前記接触部を前記フローティング固定部に一体に支持させ、前記基板接続端子片を前記支持固定部に一体に支持させ、前記ソケット側中心コンタクトと前記フローティング用バネ体とが一体化されている請求項2に記載のフローティング機構付き同軸コネクタ。
