車載用のバッテリと、発電動作を行うことで前記バッテリに電力を供給する車載用のオルタネータと、を備えた車載用電源システムにおいて、前記オルタネータを制御するオルタネータ制御装置であって、
前記バッテリの状態が所定の正常状態であるか否かを判定するバッテリ状態判定部と、
前記車載用電源システムが搭載された車両の速度が所定の低速範囲であるか否かを判定する車速判定部と、
前記車両の位置が予め定められた位置条件を満たすか否かを判定する位置判定部と、
前記バッテリの状態が前記所定の正常状態ではないと前記バッテリ状態判定部が判定し、前記車両の速度が前記所定の低速範囲であると前記車速判定部が判定し、前記車両の位置が前記位置条件を満たすと前記位置判定部が判定した場合に、前記オルタネータの出力電圧を基準電圧よりも上げる指示を行う出力電圧指示部と、

以下、本発明を具体化した実施例1について説明する。
図1で示す車両190の内部には、車両190内の様々な対象に電力を供給し得るシステムとして構成された車載用電源システム100(以下、電源システム100ともいう)と、電源システム100から電力供給を受ける様々な機器とが設けられている。図1の例では、電源システム100以外に、カーナビゲーションシステムを構成するECU(Electronic Control Unit)170(以下、ナビECU170又はECU170ともいう)と、アンチロックブレーキシステムを制御するABSECU(Antilock Brake System Electronic Control Unit)180とを備える。
オルタネータ制御装置1は、低速時に所定の位置条件下で使用されやすい負荷による消費電力の急上昇に対処しやすくなり、バッテリ91の状態が正常状態でないときに、上記状況下(車両の速度が所定の低速範囲であり且つ車両が所定の位置条件を満たす位置にある状況下)で負荷が動作しても、オルタネータ93の出力電圧不足に起因するトラブルが生じにくくなる。
次に、実施例2について説明する。
実施例2のオルタネータ制御装置1は、図3の制御に代えて図4の制御を行う点、及び図2で示す各機能の具体的内容のみが実施例1のオルタネータ制御装置1と異なり、それ以外は、実施例1のオルタネータ制御装置1と同様である。例えば、ハードウェア構成は実施例1のオルタネータ制御装置1と同様であるため、以下の説明では、ハードウェア構成については図1、図2を参照する。なお、オルタネータ制御装置1を含んでなる車両190の電気的構成において、オルタネータ制御装置1以外は、実施例1で説明した各部の構成、機能と同様である。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。また、上述した実施例や後述する実施例は矛盾しない範囲で組み合わせることが可能である。

- 車載用のバッテリと、発電動作を行うことで前記バッテリに電力を供給する車載用のオルタネータと、を備えた車載用電源システムにおいて、前記オルタネータを制御するオルタネータ制御装置であって、
前記バッテリの状態が所定の正常状態であるか否かを判定するバッテリ状態判定部と、
前記車載用電源システムが搭載された車両の速度が所定の低速範囲であるか否かを判定する車速判定部と、
前記車両の位置が予め定められた位置条件を満たすか否かを判定する位置判定部と、
前記バッテリの状態が前記所定の正常状態ではないと前記バッテリ状態判定部が判定し、前記車両の速度が前記所定の低速範囲であると前記車速判定部が判定し、前記車両の位置が前記位置条件を満たすと前記位置判定部が判定した場合に、前記オルタネータの出力電圧を基準電圧よりも上げる指示を行う出力電圧指示部と、

- 前記バッテリ状態判定部は、少なくとも前記バッテリの劣化状態が所定の劣化レベルを超えていないことを条件として前記所定の正常状態であると判定する請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載のオルタネータ制御装置。
- 前記バッテリ状態判定部は、少なくとも前記バッテリの充電状態が所定の充電レベルを超えていることを条件として前記所定の正常状態であると判定する請求項1から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載のオルタネータ制御装置。
