Claims (6)
- 記録テープカートリッジが有する記録媒体に記録された、前記記録テープカートリッジが有する磁気テープに対するデータの読み込み又は書き込みのエラーレートに相関する情報である前記磁気テープに記録されたサーボ信号が読み取られた際の信号レベル、及び前記信号レベルの測定日を読み取る読取部と、
前記読取部により読み取られた信号レベル及び測定日と、前記記録テープカートリッジを使用する際に測定された前記信号レベル及び測定日とを用いて、前記記録テープカートリッジの寿命を推定する推定部と、
を備えた記録制御装置。 - 前記推定部は、前記記録媒体に記録された前記信号レベル及び前記測定日と、前記記録テープカートリッジを使用する際に測定された前記信号レベル及び測定日とを用いて、前記サーボ信号の信号レベルの経時に伴う変化度合いを算出し、算出した変化度合いを用いて、前記サーボ信号の信号レベルが閾値未満となる保存期間を前記記録テープカートリッジの寿命と推定する、
請求項1に記載の記録制御装置。 - 前記記録媒体には、前記記録テープカートリッジの製造工程において測定された前記信号レベル及び測定日が記録される、
請求項1又は請求項2に記載の記録制御装置。 - 前記推定部は、現時点から遡った所定期間内に複数回前記記録テープカートリッジを使用する際に各々測定された前記信号レベル及び測定日を用いて、前記記録テープカートリッジの寿命を推定する、
請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の記録制御装置。 - 前記記録媒体は、RFIDタグである、
請求項1から請求項4の何れか1項に記載の記録制御装置。 - 記録テープカートリッジが有する記録媒体に記録された、前記記録テープカートリッジが有する磁気テープに対するデータの読み込み又は書き込みのエラーレートに相関する情報である前記磁気テープに記録されたサーボ信号が読み取られた際の信号レベル、及び前記信号レベルの測定日を読み取り、
読み取った信号レベル及び測定日と、前記記録テープカートリッジを使用する際に測定された前記信号レベル及び測定日とを用いて、前記記録テープカートリッジの寿命を推定する、
