Claims (7)
- 内部に液体が貯留される圧力室が形成された中空のケース本体と、
前記ケース本体に設けられ、前記圧力室の一部を区画する振動板と、
前記振動板に連結され、電気信号が供給されると前記圧力室を膨張および収縮させる圧力発生素子と、
前記ケース本体に形成され、前記圧力室と連通するノズルと、
前記液体の温度を検知する温度センサと、
前記ノズルから前記液体を吐出させる吐出パルスを1液滴吐出周期内に4つ以上含んだ基準駆動信号を記憶する駆動信号記憶回路と、
前記温度センサによって検知された温度に基づいて温度補正係数を演算する補正係数演算回路と、
前記基準駆動信号を前記温度補正係数で補正する駆動信号補正回路と、
前記補正した基準駆動信号を前記圧力発生素子に供給する駆動信号供給回路と、
を備え、
前記基準駆動信号に含まれる前記4つ以上の吐出パルスには、時系列で1つ前の吐出パルスの開始から(n+(1/2))×Tc(ただし、nは自然数であり、Tcは前記圧力室のヘルムホルツ固有振動周期である。)後のタイミングで開始される液滴吐出速度制御用の吐出パルスが含まれ、
前記駆動信号補正回路は、
前記検知された温度が予め定められた基準温度以下である場合に、前記4つ以上の吐出パルスのなかから、前記液滴吐出速度制御用の吐出パルスを除く吐出パルスについて補正する第1補正回路と、
前記検知された温度が前記基準温度よりも高い場合に、前記4つ以上の吐出パルス全てについて補正する第2補正回路と、を有する液体吐出装置。 - 前記基準駆動信号は、前記吐出パルスを偶数個含み、時系列で第(2X+1)(ただし、Xは自然数である。)番目に前記液滴吐出速度制御用の吐出パルスを含んでいる、請求項1に記載された液体吐出装置。
- 前記基準駆動信号は、Nを自然数とすると、時系列で、第(2N−1)番目の液滴を吐出するための第(2N−1)吐出パルスと、第(2N)番目の液滴を吐出するための第(2N)吐出パルスと、第(2N+1)番目の液滴を吐出するための第(2N+1)吐出パルスと、第(2N+2)番目の液滴を吐出するための第(2N+2)吐出パルスと、を少なくとも含み、
前記第(2N)番目の液滴が前記第(2N−1)番目の液滴よりも大きな速さで吐出され、前記第(2N+2)番目の液滴が前記第(2N+1)番目の液滴よりも大きな速さで吐出されるように構成されている、請求項1または2に記載された液体吐出装置。 - 前記基準駆動信号は、前記第(2N−1)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N−1)と、前記第(2N)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N)と、前記第(2N+1)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N+1)と、前記第(2N+2)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N+2)とが、以下の関係(1)、(2):
ΔV(2N−1)≦ΔV(2N) (1);
ΔV(2N−1)<ΔV(2N+1)≦ΔV(2N+2)≦1.3×ΔV(2N−1) (2);
を満たすように構成されている、請求項3に記載された液体吐出装置。 - 前記第1補正回路は、前記圧力発生素子に供給するときの第(2N−1)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N−1)sと、第(2N)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N)sと、第(2N+1)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N+1)sと、第(2N+2)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N+2)sとが、以下の関係(3)、(4):
ΔV(2N−1)s≦ΔV(2N)s (3);
ΔV(2N−1)s≦ΔV(2N+1)s≦ΔV(2N+2)s≦1.5×ΔV(2N−1)s (4);
を満たすように補正するよう構成されている、請求項3または4に記載された液体吐出装置。 - 前記第2補正回路は、前記圧力発生素子に供給するときの第(2N−1)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N−1)sと、補正後の第(2N)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N)sと、補正後の第(2N+1)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N+1)sと、補正後の第(2N+2)吐出パルスの駆動電圧ΔV(2N+2)sとが、以下の関係(3)、(5):
ΔV(2N−1)s≦ΔV(2N)s (3);
ΔV(2N−1)s<ΔV(2N+1)s≦ΔV(2N+2)s≦1.3×ΔV(2N−1)s (5);
を満たすように補正するよう構成されている、請求項3または4に記載された液体吐出装置。 - 請求項1から6までの何れか一つに記載された液体吐出装置を備え、前記液体はインクである、インクジェット式記録装置。
