Description
本発明のカーボナート樹脂を製造する方法で用いるエポキシ樹脂としては、一般式(2)のフェノールノボラック型の多官能エポキシ樹脂が用いられる。一般式(2)において、n及びR1は一般式(1)と同様な意味を有する。
本発明のカーボナート樹脂組成物は、少なくともカーボナート樹脂及びアミン系硬化剤を含むものである。
上記組成物には、これら硬化剤の1種又は2種以上を混合して用いることができる。
1Lの4口フラスコに、フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂(エポキシ当量174g/eq.、150℃での溶融粘度0.02Pa・s、GPCで測定した面積%でn=1成分が9.7%、n=2及びn=3成分の合計が54.7%、Mw/Mnが1.37)100gをN−メチル−2−ピロリドン200gに溶解させ、臭化リチウム2.24gを添加し、炭酸ガスを150ml/minで吹き込みながら(バブリング)100℃で11hr反応させた。反応後、純水に5Lに滴下して再沈殿させ、吸引濾過、リスラリーによる水洗を行ない減圧乾燥した。その後、メチルエチルケトンに溶解させ共沸により残存するN−メチル−2−ピロリドンを除去後、樹脂117gを得た(カーボナート樹脂A)。GPCで測定した面積%でn=1成分が11.9%、n=2及びn=3成分の合計が58.4%、Mw/Mnが1.24であった。カーボナート樹脂AのGPCチャートを図1に示し、NMRチャートを図2に示し、FD−MSチャートを図3に示し、IRチャートを図4に示す。反応後のNMRおよびIRチャートの結果からエポキシピークの消失および五員環カーボナートピークの生成から、99モル%以上のXが基(A)となっていることを確認した。
エポキシ化合物として、一般的なフェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂(エポキシ当量176g/eq.、150℃での溶融粘度0.04Pa・s、GPCで測定した面積%でn=1成分が20.6%、n=2及びn=3成分の合計が28.0%、Mw/Mnが2.19)100gを使用した以外は実施例1と同様の反応を行い、カーボナート樹脂B115gを得た。面積%でn=1成分が29.1%、n=2及びn=3成分の合計が31.4%、Mw/Mnが1.66であった。GPCチャートを図5に示し、NMRチャートを図6に示し、FD−MSチャートを図7に示し、IRチャートを図8に示す。
1Lの4口フラスコに、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂(新日鉄住金化学製;YD−128、エポキシ当量190g/eq.、150℃での溶融粘度0.005Pa・s)100gを使用した以外は合成例1と同様の反応を行い、カーボナート樹脂C119gを得た。
GPC測定装置(日本ウォーターズ製、515A型GPC)を用い、カラムにTSKgel SuperHZ2000(東ソー製)3本、TSKgel SuperHZ4000(東ソー製)1本を使用し、検出器をRIとし、溶媒にテトラヒドロフラン、流量0.6ml/min、カラム温度40℃として測定した。なお、面積%は生成物すべてのピークの合計を分母として計算する。
自動軟化点装置(明峰社製、ASP−M4SP)を用い、JIS−K−2207に従い環球法にて測定した。
BROOKFIELD製、CAP2000H型回転粘度計を用いて、150℃にて測定した。
エスアイアイ・ ナノテクノロジー製TMA7100型熱機械測定装置により、昇温速度10℃/分の条件で、Tgを求め、α1(Tg以下のCTE)は30〜50℃の範囲の平均値を、またα2(Tg以上のCTE)はTgプラス30℃〜50℃の範囲の平均値から求めた。
ワニス粘度は東機産業製TVE−22形粘度計を用いて25℃でのワニス粘度を測定した。保存安定性は、カーボナート樹脂組成物を溶解させた樹脂溶液を5℃で一定期間毎に測定し、ワニス粘度の上昇性により評価した。
カーボナート樹脂として実施例1、合成例1、合成例2で得られたカーボナート樹脂A、B又はC、硬化剤としてトリス(2−アミノエチル)アミン(和光純薬工業製試薬;アミノ基当量48.7)を使用して、表1に示す配合比にてカーボナート樹脂組成物(ワニス)を得た。表中の数値は配合における重量部を示す。
実施例1及び比較例1、2のエポキシ樹脂組成物A及びB、Cを用いて100℃で成形し、更に120℃にて5時間ポストキュアを行い、硬化物試験片を得た後、TMAによる物性測定に供した。結果を表2に示す。
Claims (4)
- カーボナート樹脂及び硬化剤よりなるカーボナート樹脂組成物において、カーボナート樹脂の一部又は全部として、下記一般式(1)で表され、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィーで測定した面積%でn=1成分が15%以下であり、n=2及びn=3成分の合計が50%以上であり、Mw/Mnが1.5以下である狭分散カーボナート樹脂と、硬化剤の一部又は全部として、2官能以上の脂肪族アミン系硬化剤を必須成分として含むことを特徴とするカーボナート樹脂組成物。
(R1は水素又は炭素数1〜6の炭化水素基を示し、nは1〜20の数を示す。Xは下記式(a)で表される基(A)、又はグリシジル基(G)を示し、X中の基(A)の割合は99モル%以上である。)
- カーボナート樹脂及び硬化剤よりなるカーボナート樹脂組成物において、カーボナート樹脂の一部又は全部として、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィーで測定した面積%でn=1成分が15%以下であり、n=2及びn=3成分の合計が50%以上であり、Mw/Mnが1.5以下である下記一般式(2)で表されるエポキシ樹脂と二酸化炭素とを、1〜20wt%の環状カーボナート形成触媒の存在下、反応温度40〜200℃で、エポキシ基1モルに対して反応する二酸化炭素の割合が0.99〜1.0モルとなるように反応させて得られる下記一般式(1)で表されるカーボナート樹脂と、硬化剤の一部又は全部として、2官能以上の脂肪族アミン系硬化剤を必須成分として含むことを特徴とするカーボナート樹脂組成物。

- 下記一般式(2)で表され、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィーで測定した面積%でn=1成分が15%以下であり、n=2及びn=3成分の合計が50%以上であり、Mw/Mnが1.5以下であるエポキシ樹脂と二酸化炭素とを、1〜20wt%の環状カーボナート形成触媒の存在下、反応温度40〜200℃で反応させて、下記一般式(1)で表されるカーボナート樹脂を得ること、このカーボナート樹脂に2官能以上の脂肪族アミン系硬化剤を必須成分として含む硬化剤を配合することを特徴とするカーボナート樹脂組成物の製造方法。
(一般式(1)及び一般式(2)において、R1は水素原子又は炭素数1〜6の炭化水素基を示し、Gはグリシジル基を示し、nは1〜20の数を示す。Xは下記式(a)で表される基(A)、又はグリシジル基(G)を示し、X中の基(A)の割合は99モル%以上である。)
- 請求項1又は2に記載のカーボナート樹脂組成物を硬化してなることを特徴とするカーボナート樹脂硬化物。
