Description
さらに、本発明の原稿読取装置において、前記第1光電変換素子は、前記R光源及び前記G光源の同時点灯時には、R成分の輝度レベルを示すR出力を出力すると共に、前記B光源及び前記UV光源の同時点灯には、B成分の輝度レベルを示すB出力を出力し、前記第2光電変換素子は、前記R光源及び前記G光源の同時点灯時には、G成分の輝度レベルを示すG出力を出力すると共に、前記B光源及び前記UV光源の同時点灯には、蛍光色の有無を示すUV出力を出力しても良い。
また、本発明の画像処理装置は、請求項1又は2記載の原稿読取装置を備え、前記蛍光色データによって蛍光色領域を認識すると、前記画像データにおいて蛍光色領域内の画素に対して、彩度を上げる画像処理、もしくは近似色に置き換える画像処理を実行することを特徴とする。
この構成により、R光源211、G光源212及びB光源213に、蛍光色を検出するためのUV光源214を加えても、2列の第1光電変換素子216及び第2光電変換素子218によって、2回の点灯で1ラインを読み取ることができ、カラーフィルター方式よりも安価な構成で、RGB順次点灯方式よりも走査速度を低下させることなく、蛍光色を区別して読み取ることができる。
第2光電変換素子218は、R光源211及びG光源212の同時点灯時には、G成分の輝度レベルを示すG出力を出力すると共に、B光源213及びUV光源214の同時点灯には、蛍光色の有無を示すUV出力を出力する。

Claims (3)
- 原稿をRGBの輝度信号で表現する画像データとして読み取る原稿読取装置であって、
原稿に向けてレッド光を照射するR光源と、
原稿に向けてグリーン光を照射するG光源と、
原稿に向けてブルー光を照射するB光源と、
原稿に向けて紫外線を照射するUV光源と、
原稿の1ラインを読み取る際に、前記R光源及び前記G光源の同時点灯と前記B光源及び前記UV光源の同時点灯とを切り替える点灯制御部と、
前記レッド光及び前記ブルー光は透過させ、前記グリーン光及び前記紫外線は遮断するMフィルターを備えた第1光電変換素子と、
前記グリーン光は透過させ、前記レッド光、前記ブルー光及び前記紫外線は遮断するGフィルターを備えた第2光電変換素子と、
原稿からの反射光を前記第1光電変換素子及び前記第2光電変換素子に導くレンズと、
前記R光源及び前記G光源の同時点灯時における前記第1光電変換素子及び前記第2光電変換素子の出力と、前記B光源及び前記UV光源の同時点灯における前記第1光電変換素子の出力とを、前記画像データとして出力すると共に、前記B光源及び前記UV光源の同時点灯における前記第2光電変換素子の出力を、蛍光色領域を示す蛍光色データとして出力する出力部と、を具備することを特徴とする原稿読取装置。 - 前記第1光電変換素子は、前記R光源及び前記G光源の同時点灯時には、R成分の輝度レベルを示すR出力を出力すると共に、前記B光源及び前記UV光源の同時点灯には、B成分の輝度レベルを示すB出力を出力し、
前記第2光電変換素子は、前記R光源及び前記G光源の同時点灯時には、G成分の輝度レベルを示すG出力を出力すると共に、前記B光源及び前記UV光源の同時点灯には、蛍光色の有無を示すUV出力を出力することを特徴とする請求項1記載の原稿読取装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載の原稿読取装置を備え、
前記蛍光色データによって蛍光色領域を認識すると、前記画像データにおいて蛍光色領域内の画素に対して、彩度を上げる画像処理、もしくは近似色に置き換える画像処理を実行することを特徴とする画像処理装置。
