Claims (4)
- 電動モータと、その電動モータのロータ軸の回転を減速して出力する金属製ギヤからなるギヤ減速機構と、そのギヤ減速機構の出力ギヤの回転をハウジング内に組み込まれた直動部材の直線運動に変換する回転・直動変換機構とを有し、前記ギヤ減速機構を収容するギヤケースが樹脂からなる電動式直動アクチュエータにおいて、
前記ギヤケースの形成用素材としての樹脂を強化繊維入りとし、前記ギヤケースのギヤを支持するギヤ支持部間に、そのギヤ支持部を結ぶリブを設け、そのリブが延びる方向と平行に樹脂の強化繊維を配向したことを特徴とする電動式直動アクチュエータ。 - 前記ギヤケースが、底板上に周壁が設けられたケース本体と、そのケース本体における前記周壁の開口を塞ぐ蓋とからなり、前記ケース本体の底板および前記蓋のそれぞれにギヤを回転自在に支持するギヤ支持部が対向位置に設けられ、そのギヤ支持部間に前記リブが設けられた請求項1に記載の電動式直動アクチュエータ。
- 前記強化繊維入り樹脂における強化繊維が、ガラス繊維又は炭素繊維からなる請求項1又は2に記載の電動式直動アクチュエータ。
- 電動式直動アクチュエータによりブレーキパッドを直線駆動し、そのブレーキパッドでブレーキディスクを押圧して、そのブレーキディスクに制動力を付与するようにした電動式ブレーキ装置において、
前記電動式直動アクチュエータが請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の電動式直動アクチュエータからなり、その電動式直動アクチュエータの直動部材で前記ブレーキパッドを直線駆動させるようにしたことを特徴とする電動式ブレーキ装置。
