第1の例では、図15に示すように、本発明の各種態様を、術前撮像と組織生検を含む術前処置に対して用いる。図15は、上述した方法の一実装例の各態様間の関係を示す図であり、組織同定データベース500の検索に基づいて検索結果を示すために、どのように各種診断用測定と入力を用いるかを示している。本実装例では、領域画像データ700と、局所診断用測定702と、組織分析データ704とを利用して、一患者の画像および病理結果をリンクし、また、複数の患者間の結果をリンクしている。
本システムの臨床利用を示す別の実装例では、図16に示すように、本システムの一実施形態を、患者の外科および治療計画に対して利用することである。図16は、術前の画像、病態、点源画像データを治療と外科の計画における方針決定促進を図るために具体的に利用する、一実施形態を示す図である。その患者、または、画像および/または病理が類似する複数の患者に行った以前の外科治療結果のデータを、アルゴリズム検索に基づき提示する。

- コンピュータが実施する、局所組織の診断用測定を組織分析の保管データと相関させる方法であって、
関心領域における組織サンプルについての生体内測定を含む、前記局所組織の分析を、診断装置を使用して実施する工程と、
1つ以上の従前の局所組織分析に関連付けた局所組織診断用保管データと組織分析データにアクセスする工程と、
予め選択した類似性判定基準にしたがって、前記1つ以上の局所組織の診断用測定と関連付けた前記局所組織の診断用データと、前記1つ以上の従前の局所組織分析と関連付けた前記局所組織診断用保管データとを比較する工程と、
