Description
ここで、被毒回復制御の実施中は、硫黄化合物の脱離に必要な温度にまで排気の温度が高められるため、排気通路に設けられた添加弁が高温化し、同添加弁に熱害が生じるおそれがある。そこで、例えば特許文献2に記載されている装置と同様に、上記排気浄化装置においても、添加弁の高温化が懸念されるときには、添加弁から燃料を噴射することにより当該添加弁の冷却を行う、いわゆる冷却添加を実行することが好ましい。
また、上記制御装置において、前記被毒回復時冷却添加部は、前記被毒回復制御の実施中における前記脱離処理の実行回数が予め定められた回数に達するまで、前記目標温度算出部による前記目標温度の更新を保留するとともに前記添加量算出部による前記冷却添加量の更新を保留するようにしてもよい。
また、被毒回復時冷却添加部80Bは、上記休止処理の実行中における冷却添加の実施中に添加弁35から添加する燃料量を冷却添加量としたときに、脱離処理開始時における添加弁35の温度が目標温度Tdになるように冷却添加量CAを算出する添加量算出部80Dを備えている。
制御装置80は、排気に供給された燃料量、排気温度THE等から求められたNSR触媒20の温度、吸入空気量GAなどから求められた排気流量などに基づいてNSR触媒20に堆積している硫黄化合物の量(以下、硫黄堆積量という)を算出している。
次に、被毒回復時冷却添加部80Bは、ポスト噴射休止処理の開始タイミングか否かを判定する(S150)。そして、ポスト噴射休止処理の開始タイミングではないときには(S150:NO)、ステップS150の処理を繰り返し実行する。
(1)被毒回復制御の実行要求があるときに(図3のS100:YES)、上記予測最高温度Tmが許容上限温度Tcを超えると判定される場合には(図3のS120)、ポスト噴射休止処理実行中に添加弁35の冷却添加を実施するとともに脱離処理実行中の冷却添加を禁止する冷却添加制御が実施される(図3のS150及びS160)。
この図7に示すように、脱離処理の実施中には添加弁35の冷却添加が禁止されることにより(時刻t1〜時刻t2、時刻t3〜時刻t4)、脱離処理の実行中における排気の空燃比の過剰なリッチ化が抑えられるため、HCスリップの発生を抑えることができる。また、脱離処理の実行中における排気の空燃比の過剰なリッチ化が抑えられるため、被毒回復制御を実施するときの被毒回復の効率低下も抑えることができる。
・先の図3に示したステップS180の処理を省略する。そして、ステップS170にて否定判定されるときには、ステップS110以降の処理を実行するようにしてもよい。つまり、脱離処理を1回実行する毎に目標温度Td及び冷却添加量CAを算出してもよい。この場合でも、上記(4)以外の作用効果を得ることができる。
Claims (4)
- 気筒内に燃料を直接噴射する筒内噴射弁と、排気通路に設けられたNOx吸蔵還元型の触媒と、前記触媒よりも上流側の排気通路に設けられて排気に機関燃料を添加する添加弁と、を備える内燃機関の制御装置であって、
当該制御装置は、
前記触媒に堆積した硫黄化合物が脱離する脱離可能温度に同触媒の温度を高めた状態で前記筒内噴射弁から排気への燃料供給を実施することにより前記触媒に堆積した硫黄化合物を脱離させる脱離処理と、前記筒内噴射弁から排気への燃料供給を休止する休止処理と、を交互に繰り返すことにより前記触媒に堆積した硫黄化合物を減少させる被毒回復制御を実行する被毒回復制御部と、
前記添加弁から機関燃料を添加することにより同添加弁を冷却する冷却添加を前記休止処理の実行中に実施するとともに前記脱離処理の実行中における前記冷却添加を禁止する冷却添加制御を実行する被毒回復時冷却添加部と、を備え、
前記被毒回復時冷却添加部は、
前記脱離処理実行中の前記添加弁の温度が予め定められた許容上限温度を超えないように前記脱離処理開始時の前記添加弁の目標温度を算出する目標温度算出部と、
前記休止処理の実行中における前記冷却添加の実施中に前記添加弁から添加する燃料量を冷却添加量としたときに、前記脱離処理開始時における前記添加弁の温度が前記目標温度になるように前記冷却添加量を算出する添加量算出部と、を備える
内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記被毒回復時冷却添加部は、
前記脱離処理実行中の前記添加弁の最高温度を予測する温度予測部と、
前記温度予測部で予測された前記添加弁の最高温度が前記許容上限温度を超えるか否かを判定する判定部と、をさらに備えており、
前記判定部にて前記添加弁の最高温度が前記許容上限温度を超えると判定されるときに、前記被毒回復時冷却添加部は前記冷却添加制御を実行する
請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記目標温度算出部は、前記温度予測部で予測された前記添加弁の最高温度から前記許容上限温度を減じた値が大きいときほど、前記目標温度が低くなるように同目標温度を算出し、
前記添加量算出部は、前記目標温度が低いときほど、前記冷却添加量が多くなるように同冷却添加量を算出する
請求項2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記被毒回復時冷却添加部は、前記被毒回復制御の実施中における前記脱離処理の実行回数が予め定められた回数に達するまで、前記目標温度算出部による前記目標温度の更新を保留するとともに前記添加量算出部による前記冷却添加量の更新を保留する
請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
