Description
図2ないし図4に示したように、本発明の一実施形態による空気浄化装置100は、ハウジング110と、第1、2開閉部材120、130と、第1フィルター部140と、循環管150と、第3開閉部材153と、第1ヒーター160と、送風機170と、を含む。
ハウジング110は、内部空間を有し、一部に室内から汚染空気を流入する流入口111が形成され、他部に浄化された空気を室外に排出する排出口112が形成される。ハウジング110が、第1ダクト10と第2ダクト20との間に設けられる場合、流入口111は、第1ダクト10と連通されて汚染空気を流入することができる。排出口112は、第2ダクト20と連通されて浄化された空気を排出することができる。排出口112は、第2ダクト20と連結されず、直ちに室外に露出されることもある。
第1フィルター部140を通過した空気は、前述した移動経路に沿って循環しながら第1フィルター部140を加熱して、第1フィルター部140の異物を燃消させ、浄化処理されうる。ハウジング110内の空気に対する浄化処理が完了すれば、排出口112が第2開閉部材130によって開放されて、浄化された空気が室外に排出される。
第2フィルター部180には、捕集された異物の燃焼温度を低めるための触媒がコーティングされうる。ここで、触媒は、第2フィルター部180に捕集された異物をほぼ220℃で燃消させるように作用する。触媒は、酸化触媒などからなる。酸化触媒は、白金(Pt)、パラジウム(Pd)、ロジウム(Rh)のような金属酸化物からなる。第2フィルター部180に前述した触媒がコーティングされるので、不完全燃焼された煙などが第2フィルター部180で捕集されても、捕集された煙を燃消させて除去することができる。第1フィルター部140にも、前述した触媒がコーティングされてもよい。
Claims (4)
- 内部空間を有し、一部に室内から汚染空気を流入する流入口が形成され、他部に浄化された空気を室外に排出する排出口が形成されたハウジングと、
前記流入口を開閉する第1開閉部材と、
前記排出口を開閉する第2開閉部材と、
前記ハウジング内で汚染空気から異物を捕集して分離し、外側周り部位が、前記ハウジングの内側周り部位と気密を保持した状態で両端部が前記流入口と前記排出口とをそれぞれ向かうように配される第1フィルター部と、
第1端部が、前記流入口側に配されて、前記ハウジングと連通され、第2端部が、前記排出口側に配されて、前記ハウジングと連通される循環管と、
前記循環管を開閉する第3開閉部材と、
前記循環管内の空気を加熱するように、前記循環管内に設けられる第1ヒーターと、
前記循環管内の空気を、前記ハウジング内に送出するように、前記循環管内に設けられる送風機と、
前記循環管内で汚染空気から異物を捕集して分離する第2フィルター部と、を含み、
前記第2フィルター部には、捕集された異物の燃焼温度を低めるための触媒がコーティングされたことを特徴とする空気浄化装置。 - 前記送風機は、
前記循環管の第1端部から前記循環管内に空気を吸い込んで、前記循環管の第2端部を通じて前記ハウジング内に送出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気浄化装置。 - 前記第1フィルター部の両端部のうち少なくとも一端部を加熱するように、前記ハウジング内に設けられる第2ヒーターをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気浄化装置。
- 前記第1フィルター部の外周り部位を加熱するように、前記第1フィルター部の外周り部位と前記ハウジングの内側周り部位との間に設けられる面状発熱方式の第2ヒーターをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気浄化装置。
