Description
Claims (3)
- 平均直径が100nmから10μmの複数のポリマー粒子を製造する方法であって、該複数のポリマー粒子のそれぞれの粒子が:(a)核、および(b)少なくとも1種のC3〜C6のカルボン酸モノマーの少なくとも26wt%から50wt%以下の重合残基を含む、該核を囲む複数のローブを含み、各ローブは、該ローブの最小直径に対する該ローブの最大直径の比率が1.5以下の形状を有し、前記方法は:(i)少なくとも1種のC3〜C6のカルボン酸モノマーの少なくとも20wt%の重合残基および少なくとも1種の架橋剤の少なくとも0.1wt%の重合残基を含む種粒子を提供するステップ;(ii)水性エマルション中に平均Van Krevelenパラメータが前記種粒子のものよりも少なくとも0.5J0.5cm−1.5低い第1のモノマー混合物と前記種粒子を懸濁化させ、前記第1のモノマー混合物を重合するステップ;ならびに(iii)前記水性エマルションに第2のモノマー混合物を加え、前記第2のモノマー混合物を重合するステップを含み、前記第2のモノマー混合物は、種粒子ならびに第1および第2のモノマー混合物の総重量の85wt%から98wt%からなり、前記第1および第2のモノマー混合物は、前記第1および第2のモノマー混合物の総重量に基づいて少なくとも26wt%から50wt%以下のC3〜C6のカルボン酸モノマーを含む、方法。
- 前記第1のモノマー混合物が、平均Van Krevelenパラメータが前記種粒子のものよりも少なくとも0.6J0.5cm−1.5低い、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記種粒子が、前記種粒子ならびに前記第1および第2のモノマー混合物の総重量の0.1から10wt%である、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
