Description
Claims (10)
- 塗装ガンおよび塗装ラインをクリーニングするために用いられるパージ流体を回収する方法であって、
水、溶剤、および塗料粒子を含有する固体物質を含む使用済みパージ流体を提供することと、
前記使用済みパージ流体に1つ以上の凝結剤であって、ポリ塩化アルミニウム、カチオン化澱粉、および正電荷ポリマー系化合物を含む凝結剤の有効量を添加することと、
前記凝結剤を添加する前に、前記使用済みパージ流体に1つ以上の凝集剤の有効量を添加し、前記1つ以上の凝集剤が前記塗料粒子の凝集を促進することと、
凝集した前記塗料粒子を沈殿させることと、
前記使用済みパージ流体から凝集した前記塗料粒子を分離し、それによって前記溶剤であるエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルを回収することと、
を含み、
前記凝集剤は、6×10 6 〜20×10 6 ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリアクリルアミドポリマー部分加水分解物を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
凝結を促進するために、前記使用済みパージ流体のpHを調整するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の方法であって、
水によって前記使用済みパージ流体を希釈するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記パージ流体を凝集した前記塗料粒子から分離された後に、濾過するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記1つ以上の凝集剤を添加した後に、沈殿槽内に前記パージ流体を移すステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、
デカンター遠心分離機に前記塗料粒子を含む前記沈殿槽のアンダーフローを移して、前記塗料粒子を濃縮および脱水するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 塗装ガンおよび塗装ラインをクリーニングするために用いられる使用済みパージ廃棄物の量を減少させる方法であって、
水、溶剤としてエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル、および塗料樹脂、顔料、およびその組み合わせから選択される1種を含有する固体物質を含む使用済みパージ廃棄物を提供することと、
前記使用済みパージ廃棄物に1つ以上の凝結剤であって、ポリ塩化アルミニウム、カチオン化澱粉、および正電荷ポリマー系化合物を含む凝結剤の有効量を添加することと、
前記使用済みパージ廃棄物に1つ以上の凝集剤の有効量を添加し、前記1つ以上の凝集剤が、前記使用済みパージ廃棄物中の前記固体物質の凝集を促進することと、
凝集した前記固体物質を沈殿させることと、
前記水および前記溶剤から凝集した前記固体物質を分離することと、
前記水および溶剤をリサイクルすることと、
凝集した前記固体物質のみを処分することと、
を含み、
前記凝集剤は、6×10 6 〜20×10 6 ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリアクリルアミドポリマー部分加水分解物を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項7に記載の方法であって、
前記1つ以上の凝集剤を添加した後に、沈殿槽内に前記使用済みパージ廃棄物を移すステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項8に記載の方法であって、
デカンター遠心分離機に前記固体物質を含む前記沈殿槽のアンダーフローを移して、前記塗料粒子を濃縮および脱水するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 自動塗装装置の流路をクリーニングするための方法であって、
a)塗装ガンと流体連通した塗料ラインを有する自動塗装装置を提供することと、
b)前記塗料ラインの末端に、水およびエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルを含むパージ流体を圧入し、それによって、前記パージ流体が前記塗料ラインを通って前記塗装ガン内に、そして前記塗装ガンの末端から外に移動することと、
c)槽内に前記パージ流体を集めることと、
d)前記パージ流体に1つ以上の凝結剤であって、ポリ塩化アルミニウム、カチオン化澱粉、および正電荷ポリマー系化合物を含む凝結剤の有効量を添加することと、
e)前記パージ流体に1つ以上の凝集剤の有効量を添加し、前記1つ以上の凝集剤が前記パージ流体中の塗料粒子の凝集を促進することと、
f)凝集した前記塗料粒子を沈殿させることと、
g)前記パージ流体から凝集した前記塗料粒子を分離することと、
h)前記分離したパージ流体をクリーンなパージ流体供給槽に搬送し、任意選択でステップa)〜h)が複数回繰り返されることと、
を含み、
前記凝集剤は、6×10 6 〜20×10 6 ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリアクリルアミドポリマー部分加水分解物を含むことを特徴とする方法。
