Description
Claims (15)
- パージ流体を回収する方法であって、
水、溶剤、および固体物質を含む使用済みパージ流体を提供することと、
前記使用済みパージ流体に1つ以上の凝結剤の有効量を添加することと、
前記使用済みパージ流体に1つ以上の凝集剤の有効量を添加し、前記1つ以上の凝集剤が前記固体物質の凝集を促進することと、
前記凝集した固体物質を沈殿させることと、
前記使用済みパージ流体から前記凝集した固体物質を分離し、それによって前記パージ流体を回収することと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
凝結を促進するために、前記使用済みパージ流体のpHを調整するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
水によって前記使用済みパージ流体を希釈するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記パージ流体を前記凝集した固体物質から分離された後に、濾過するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記1つ以上の凝集剤を添加した後に、沈殿槽内に前記パージ流体を移すステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、
デカンター遠心分離機に前記沈殿固体物質を含む前記沈殿槽のアンダーフローを移すステップと、前記固体物質を濃縮するステップと、前記固体物質を脱水するステップとを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記溶剤がエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルであることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記固体物質が塗料粒子を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記凝結剤がポリ塩化アルミニウム、カチオン化澱粉、およびポリマーを含み、前記凝集剤が、6×106〜2×106ダルトンの分子量を有するポリアクリルアミドポリマー部分加水分解物を含み、加水分解されたアクリルアミド構造ユニットを有する前記ポリアクリルアミドポリマーの部分が30重量%を上回らないことを特徴とする方法。 - 使用済みパージ廃棄物の量を減少させる方法であって、
水、溶剤、および固体物質を含む使用済みパージ廃棄物を提供することと、
前記使用済みパージ廃棄物に1つ以上の凝結剤の有効量を添加することと、
前記使用済みパージ廃棄物に1つ以上の凝集剤の有効量を添加し、前記1つ以上の凝集剤が、前記使用済みパージ廃棄物中の固体物質の凝集を促進することと、
前記凝集した固体物質を沈殿させることと、
前記水および前記溶剤から前記凝集した固体物質を分離することと、
前記水および溶剤をリサイクルすることと、
前記凝集した固体物質のみを処分することと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項10に記載の方法であって、
前記1つ以上の凝集剤を添加した後に、沈殿槽内に前記使用済みパージ廃棄物を移すステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項11に記載の方法であって、
デカンター遠心分離機に前記沈殿固体物質を含む前記沈殿槽のアンダーフローを移すステップと、前記固体物質を濃縮するステップと、前記固体物質を脱水するステップとを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法であって、
前記固体物質が、塗料樹脂、顔料、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される一種を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法であって、
前記凝結剤がポリ塩化アルミニウム、カチオン化澱粉、およびポリマーを含み、前記凝集剤が、6×106〜2×106ダルトンの分子量を有するポリアクリルアミドポリマー部分加水分解物を含み、加水分解されたアクリルアミド構造ユニットを有する前記ポリアクリルアミドポリマーの部分が30重量%を上回らないことを特徴とする方法。 - 自動塗装装置の流路をクリーニングするための方法であって、
a)塗装ガンと流体連通した塗料ラインを有する自動塗装装置を提供することと、
b)前記塗料ラインの末端にパージ流体を圧入し、それによって、前記パージ流体が前記塗料ラインを通って前記塗装ガン内に、そして前記塗装ガンの末端から外に移動することと、
c)槽内に前記パージ流体を集めることと、
d)前記パージ流体に1つ以上の凝結剤の有効量を添加することと、
e)前記パージ流体に1つ以上の凝集剤の有効量を添加し、前記1つ以上の凝集剤が前記パージ流体中の固体の凝集を促進することと、
f)前記凝集した固体を沈殿させることと、
g)前記パージ流体から前記凝集した固体を分離することと、
h)前記分離したパージ流体をクリーンなパージ流体供給槽に搬送し、任意選択でステップa)〜h)が複数回繰り返されることと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
