Abstract
Description
本発明の油圧緩衝器の一実施形態としてフロントフォークを例示して以下の説明を行う。ただし、本発明の油圧緩衝器は、リアダンパーとして実現されてもよい。
以上のように油圧緩衝器1は、車体側のチューブ11と、チューブ11に対して移動する車軸側のチューブ12と、チューブ11に収容され、軸方向に油を流通させる流路22を内部に有する中空状のロッド16と、油の流動抵抗を調整することにより減衰力を調整する減衰力調整部である制御部10と、ロッド16の少なくとも下端を囲むように配置された囲い部材42と、を備えている。囲い部材42は、その外側から内側へと油を導く流入路43を有し、流入路43は、流入路43の軸線が、ロッド16の軸線である中心軸C1からずれるように配置されている。
図9は、囲い部材42の変形例を示す断面図である。図9に示すように、囲い部材42は、複数の流入路43を備えていてもよい。複数の流入路43の配置を適切に設定することにより、油の渦をより効率的に発生させることができる。流入路43を形成する数は、油圧緩衝器1において発生する減衰力とのバランスを考慮して決定されればよい。
油圧緩衝器1が搭載される鞍乗型車両として、例えば自動二輪車および自動三輪車が挙げられる。油圧緩衝器1は、例えば、自動二輪車に備えられるフロントフォークである。図10は、油圧緩衝器1を搭載した自動二輪車2を示す側面図である。図11は、自動二輪車2の要部を示す正面図である。

Claims (7)
- 車体側チューブと、
前記車体側チューブに対して移動する車軸側チューブと、
前記車体側チューブに収容され、軸方向に油を流通させる第1流路を内部に有する中空状のロッドと、
前記油の流動抵抗を調整することにより減衰力を調整する減衰力調整部と、
前記ロッドの少なくとも下端を囲むように配置された囲い部材と、を備え、
前記囲い部材は、その外側から内側へと油を導く流入路を有し、
前記流入路は、該流入路の軸線が、前記ロッドの軸線からずれるように配置され、
前記流入路は、該流入路の軸線が前記ロッドの軸線に対して垂直になるように延びており、
前記囲い部材の内壁は、前記ロッドの軸線に対して垂直な平面で切断したときの断面に、円弧が含まれており、
前記第1流路よりも内径が小さく、かつ、前記第1流路へと連なる第2流路を内部に有する中空状の先端部材が、前記第1流路の下端開口に備えられている、油圧緩衝器。 - 前記囲い部材は、少なくとも、前記流入路よりも下流側に、前記下流側へ向かうにつれて内径が小さくなるテーパー部を有する、請求項1に記載の油圧緩衝器。
- 前記先端部材の下端は、前記流入路よりも下側に位置している、請求項1または2に記載の油圧緩衝器。
- 前記囲い部材は、その下端側の内部に配設された凹部、又は、その下端側を貫通する貫通孔を有する、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の油圧緩衝器。
- 前記第1流路から流れ出た油が、前記減衰力調整部へと流入する、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の油圧緩衝器。
- 前記減衰力調整部は、磁力を利用して駆動力を発生させる駆動部と、前記駆動部の駆動により開閉する制御弁とを有する、請求項5に記載の油圧緩衝器。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の油圧緩衝器を備える鞍乗型車両。
