Description
第1ガラス板、第2ガラス板、シール材、およびゲッター材を含む組立体を組み立てる工程と、
前記組立体を搬送する搬送台を加熱炉内に搬入する工程と、
前記加熱炉内の減圧空間において、前記組立体を加熱して前記シール材を溶融させると共に前記ゲッター材を活性化させた後、前記シール材を固化させて前記第1ガラス板と前記第2ガラス板とを前記シール材で接合すると共に前記第1ガラス板と前記第2ガラス板との間に形成される減圧空間を前記ゲッター材を含んだ状態で前記シール材で封止し、前記ゲッター材に前記減圧空間内のガスを吸着させる工程と、を有する真空複層ガラスの製造方法が提供される。
図1は、第1実施形態による真空複層ガラスの製造方法を示すフローチャートである。図2は、第1実施形態による組立工程における組立体を示す断面図である。図3は、第1実施形態による接合・封止工程における組立体を示す断面図である。
シール材25の溶融後、加熱炉60内の減圧空間61において、搬送台50の上方に配設される加圧部材62と搬送台50とが組立体20を加圧する。加圧部材62は、例えば、複数の流体圧シリンダ63と、加圧板64とで構成される。各流体圧シリンダ63の本体は加熱炉60の天井に固定され、各流体圧シリンダ63のロッドの先端は加圧板64に固定される。加圧板64は、搬送台50に対して昇降自在とされる。
上述した[機械加圧による接合・封止プロセス]に代わり、[気圧差による接合・封止プロセス]を用いてもよい。[気圧差による接合・封止プロセス]とは、加熱炉60内の温度をシール材25の溶融温度以下に下げ、シール材25の流動性を低下させた状態で組立体20を減圧空間23から減圧空間23よりも気圧が高い空間(例えば大気圧空間)に導入し、その気圧差により組立体20の全面を均一に加圧するプロセスである。[気圧差による接合・封止プロセス]により、[機械加圧による接合・封止プロセス]における機械加圧機構が不要になる。よって、例えば多段棚に組立体20を多数配置し、多数の組立体20を一括で接合・封止することが可能である。
尚、ゲッター材16の位置は、特に限定されない。例えば、ゲッター材16は、第2ガラス板12における第1ガラス板11との対向面または第1ガラス板11における第2ガラス板12との対向面に貼り付けられてもよく、凹部12aがなくてもよい。また、ゲッター材16の数、形状なども特に限定されない。
図5は、第2実施形態による真空複層ガラスを示す断面図である。真空複層ガラス10Aは、第1ガラス板11A、第2ガラス板12A、減圧空間13A、第1シール材15Aa、第2シール材15Ab、金属部材15Ac、およびゲッター材16Aを有する。ゲッター材16Aは、第2ガラス板12Aにおける第1ガラス板11Aとの対向面に形成される凹部12Aaにセットされる。

Claims (4)
- 第1ガラス板、第2ガラス板、シール材、およびゲッター材を含む組立体を組み立てる工程と、
前記組立体を搬送する搬送台を加熱炉内に搬入する工程と、
前記加熱炉内の減圧空間において、前記組立体を加熱して前記シール材を溶融させると共に前記ゲッター材を活性化させた後、前記シール材を固化させて前記第1ガラス板と前記第2ガラス板とを前記シール材で接合すると共に前記第1ガラス板と前記第2ガラス板との間に形成される減圧空間を前記ゲッター材を含んだ状態で前記シール材で封止し、前記ゲッター材に前記減圧空間内のガスを吸着させる工程と、を有する真空複層ガラスの製造方法。 - 前記シール材は、ガラスフリットを含むペーストで形成され、
前記シール材の溶融温度は、350〜520℃である、請求項1に記載の真空複層ガラスの製造方法。 - 前記シール材は枠状に形成され、
前記ゲッター材と、前記シール材の少なくとも一部との間の距離が20mm以下である、請求項1または2に記載の真空複層ガラスの製造方法。 - 第1ガラス板と、
第2ガラス板と、
前記第1ガラス板と前記第2ガラス板との間に形成される減圧空間と、
前記第1ガラス板と前記第2ガラス板とを接合すると共に前記減圧空間を封止するシール材と、
前記減圧空間内のガスを吸着するゲッター材とを有し、
前記シール材は枠状に形成され、
前記ゲッター材と、前記シール材の少なくとも一部との間の距離が20mm以下である、真空複層ガラス。
