Description
本PCT(特許協力条約)特許出願は、2012年9月21日に出願され、「Oleophobic Coating on Sapphire」と題する米国仮特許出願第61/704,275号に対する優先権を主張するもので、この内容全体を参照によって本明細書に引用したものとする。
Claims (20)
- アルミナ基層を有する基板と、
前記基板上の遷移層であって、前記遷移層がアルミナ及びシリカを含む遷移層と、
前記遷移層上のポリマーベースの表面コーティングであって、前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングが前記アルミナに比べ、優先的に前記シリカと結合するコーティングと
を含む構成要素。 - 前記アルミナ基層が単結晶のサファイアを含む、請求項1に記載の構成要素。
- 前記遷移層が、前記アルミナ基層における50%以上のアルミナ含有量から前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングにおける50%以上のシリカの含有量に連続的に遷移する組成を有する、請求項1に記載の構成要素。
- 前記遷移層が、前記アルミナ基層との第1の界面において90〜100%のアルミナ含有量と前記ポリマーベースとの第2の界面において90〜100%のシリカ含有量を有する、請求項1に記載の構成要素。
- 前記遷移層が一定のシリカ含有量を有する表面層を画定し、前記表面コーティングが前記表面層の前記シリカと優先的に結合する、請求項1に記載の構成要素。
- 前記表面層が100%のシリカ又はシリカガラスを含む、請求項5に記載の構成要素。
- 前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングが疎水性コーティングを含む、請求項1に記載の構成要素。
- 請求項1に記載の前記構成要素を備えるポータブル電子デバイス。
- 前記構成要素がウィンドウに含まれており、前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングが前記ウィンドウの外面上に提供される、請求項8に記載のポータブル電子デバイス。
- 前記ウィンドウ内またはその下方に設けられたタッチスクリーンを更に備える、請求項9に記載のポータブル電子デバイス。
- ポータブル電子デバイスのためのウィンドウであって、前記ウィンドウが、
サファイアガラス基層を有する基板と、
前記サファイアガラス基層上の遷移層であって、前記遷移層がアルミナ及びシリカを含む遷移層と、
前記遷移層上のポリマーベースの表面コーティングであって、前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングが前記アルミナに比べ、優先的に前記シリカと結合する撥油性表面コーティングと
を含むウィンドウ。 - 前記遷移層が前記基層における少なくとも90%のアルミナから前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングにおける少なくとも50%のシリカ又はシリカガラスへ遷移する、請求項11に記載のウィンドウ。
- 前記遷移層が前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングにおける少なくとも90%のシリカ又はシリカガラスへ遷移する、請求項12に記載のウィンドウ。
- 前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングがシリカに優先的に結合する末端基を含む、請求項11に記載のウィンドウ。
- 前記ウィンドウ内に提供されるタッチスクリーンを更に備え、前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングが前記タッチスクリーンの外面上に提供される、請求項11に記載のウィンドウ。
- アルミナ基層を有する基板を提供することと、
前記サファイア基板上の遷移層であって、前記遷移層がアルミナ及びシリカを含む遷移層を形成することと、
前記遷移層上のポリマーベースの表面コーティングであって、前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングが前記アルミナに比べ、優先的に前記シリカと結合する表面コーティングを形成することと
を含む方法。 - 前記遷移層が物理的又は化学的により形成される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移層を形成することが、前記アルミナ基層における50%以上のアルミナ含有量から前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングにおける50%以上のシリカの含有量に遷移することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記遷移層を形成することが、前記アルミナ基層との第1の界面における100%のアルミナから前記ポリマーベースの表面コーティングとの第2の界面における100%のシリカ又はシリカガラスへの遷移を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 遷移層を形成することが、一定のシリカ含有量を有する表面層形成することをさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
