Description
Claims (5)
- リアアクスルハウジングの外周面にブレーキフランジを圧入するブレーキフランジ圧入工程と、
前記ブレーキフランジ圧入工程の後に、前記リアアクスルハウジングと前記ブレーキフランジとを溶接するブレーキフランジ溶接工程と、
前記ブレーキフランジ溶接工程の後に、リアアクスルハウジングの端部の内周面にアクスルエンドを圧入するアクスルエンド圧入工程と、
前記アクスルエンド圧入工程の後に、前記リアアクスルハウジングと前記アクスルエンドとを溶接するアクスルエンド溶接工程と、を有し、
前記ブレーキフランジ溶接工程では、電極を通電して発生させたアークにより前記リアアクスルハウジングと前記ブレーキフランジの内側との開先に溶融部を形成し、前記溶融部が硬化する前に、後行ワイヤを通電せずに前記溶融部に供給し、
前記アクスルエンド溶接工程では、電極を通電して発生させたアークにより前記リアアクスルハウジングと前記アクスルエンドとの開先に溶融部を形成し、前記溶融部が硬化する前に、後行ワイヤを通電せずに前記溶融部に供給する、
リアアクスルの製造方法。 - 前記ブレーキフランジ圧入工程の前に、リアアクスルハウジングの端部に外周を小径化した小径化部を形成する小径化部形成工程を更に有し、
前記ブレーキフランジ圧入工程では、前記小径化部の外周面にブレーキフランジを圧入する、
請求項1に記載のリアアクスルの製造方法。 - 前記後行ワイヤを、前記アークの進行方向後方における前記溶融部の盛り上がり部に供給する、
請求項1又は2に記載のリアアクスルの製造方法。 - 前記ブレーキフランジ溶接工程及び前記アクスルエンド溶接工程では、前記開先を、対向面が略平行となる断面略U字状の狭開先とする、
請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のリアアクスルの製造方法。 - 前記ブレーキフランジ溶接工程では、電極を通電して発生させたアークにより、前記ブレーキフランジの前記リアアクスルハウジングに対向するブレーキフランジ対向面と、前記リアアクスルハウジングの前記ブレーキフランジに対向するリアアクスルハウジング対向面と、により画成される開先に溶融部を形成し、前記溶融部が硬化する前に、後行ワイヤを通電せずに前記溶融部に供給する、
請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のリアアクスルの製造方法。
