Claims (2)
- 車体パネルを覆って装着されるトリム材の裏面に配置され、入力荷重を受けて圧潰変形することにより入力エネルギーを吸収する車両用緩衝部材において、
平板状の基板部と、
前記基板部の縁部にフランジ状に連設される縦壁と、
前記基板部に並列的に立設され、それぞれが前記縦壁と交差する方向に延在して前記縦壁に接続する複数のリブと、
隣り合う一対のリブの間に設定され、前記縦壁の強度が局所的に弱くなる脆弱部と、を有し、
前記脆弱部は、
前記縦壁に設けられた溝部と、
前記基板部に穿孔されたスリット部と、で構成され、
前記溝部は、
前記縦壁の上端部において当該縦壁の厚み方向に連続する第1溝部と、
前記第1溝部と連通し、前記縦壁の高さ方向に連続する第2溝部とで構成され、
前記スリット部は、
前記縦壁に接して設けられ、当該縦壁の延在方向に沿って横長となる開口形状を備える
ことを特徴とする車両用緩衝部材。 - 前記基板部は、車両左右方向に横長となる略矩形形状を有し、
前記縦壁は、前記基板部の縁部全周にわたって設けられており、
前記縦壁は、前記基板部の四隅に対応して、当該縦壁が部分的に切り欠かれていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された車両用緩衝部材。
