Description
Celgard(登録商標)EZ2090 Zシリーズポリプロピレン(PP)微多孔質膜を、15g/m2の基本重量を有する不織ポリプロピレン(PP)布に、ダイヤモンド対角表面パターンを使用して熱的に積層した。得られた製品EZL2090を、カ氏約150度の温度、および約40psiの圧力で、仕様番号C2000に従って、Micrex(登録商標)Corporationのマイクロクレープ加工過程を使用して、マイクロクレープ加工した。20μmの微多孔質Celgard(登録商標)EZ2090への130μmの不織PP布の83μmのEZL2090複合体のマイクロクレープ加工は、44g/m2の基本重量を有する263μmの厚さのマイクロクレープ加工された複合微多孔質膜を生成した。この本発明のマイクロクレープ加工された複合膜は、マイクロクレープ加工されていないEZL2090と比較した時、穿刺強度における約20%の増加、および破断時MD伸長における100%の増加を有した。マイクロクレープ加工された複合膜の試験試料を完全に延伸するまで伸長させ、解放した後、回復は、ほぼ100%であった。5秒/10ccの低Gurley値は、本発明のマイクロクレープ加工された複合膜の高い空気透過性を示す。
マイクロクレープ加工されたCelgard(登録商標)EZL3030の特性を表2に示す。Celgard(登録商標)EZ3030 18μmポリプロピレン(PP)微多孔質膜を、11.7g/m2の基本重量を有する106μmの不織ポリプロピレン(PP)布に、ドット表面パターンを使用して、熱的に積層した。図4に示されるマイクロクレープ加工されたEZL3030は、カ氏約150度の温度、および約40psiの圧力で、仕様番号C2000に従って、Micrex(登録商標)Corporationのマイクロクレープ加工過程を使用して、調製した。本発明のマイクロクレープ加工されたEZL3030は、159μmの厚さであり、複合層の穿刺強度と比較した時、穿刺強度における約30%の増加を有した。マイクロクレープ加工されたEZL3090に対して観察されるゼロGurley値は、非常に高い空気透過性を示す。加えて、穿刺強度試験中に測定される荷重時%歪みにおける60%の増加が観察され、マイクロクレープ加工された膜に対する荷重下の拡張性または伸縮における増加を示す。
Gurleyは、ASTM D−726方法によって測定され、Gurley Densometer Model 4120透過性試験器を使用して測定される気体透過性試験である。ASTM Gurleyは、12.2インチの水の定圧で、10ccの空気が1平方インチのフィルムを通過するために必要とされる秒単位の時間である。
Claims (11)
- マイクロクレープ加工された複合微多孔質膜であって、永続的に離間したクレープを有する複合微多孔質膜を有し、前記複合微多孔質膜は織布もしくは不織布に積層される微多孔質ポリマー膜を備え、前記微多孔質ポリマー膜は0.02〜0.20μmの範囲の平均孔直径を有し、前記マイクロクレープ加工された複合微多孔質膜は、延伸後、20〜100%の回復を有する、複合微多孔質膜。
- 前記不織布の1つ以上の層が、熱的に、超音波的に、前記微多孔質ポリマー膜に積層されている、請求項1に記載の複合微多孔質膜。
- 機械方向伸縮は、最大200%である、請求項1に記載の複合微多孔質膜。
- 前記ポリマー膜は、水不浸透性である、請求項1に記載の複合微多孔質膜。
- 前記ポリマー膜は、蒸気透過性である、請求項4に記載の複合微多孔質膜。
- マイクロクレープ加工された微多孔質膜であって、
永続的に離間したクレープを有する微多孔質膜を有し、前記微多孔質膜は0.02〜0.20μmの範囲の平均孔直径を有し、前記マイクロクレープ加工された微多孔質膜は、延伸後、20〜100%の回復を有する、微多孔質膜。 - 請求項6に記載のマイクロクレープ加工された微多孔質膜を含む織物または衣類。
- マイクロクレープ加工された微多孔質膜を形成する方法であって、
マイクロクレープ加工過程もしくは処理を介して、永続的な、規則的に離間したクレープを微多孔質膜に導入することを有し、前記微多孔質膜は0.02〜0.20μmの範囲の平均孔直径を有し、前記マイクロクレープ加工された微多孔質膜は、延伸後、20〜100%の回復を有する、方法。 - 前記微多孔質膜は、複数の層を有する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記微多孔質膜の1つの層は、不織材からなる層である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記微多孔質膜の1つの層は、コーティングである、請求項9に記載の方法。
