Claims (12)
- 3つ以上の部分と、相互に隣接する該部分の間の相互接続部分とを備える単一バッテリ・リボンを備える装置であって、
前記3つ以上の部分の各々は、ブロックを備え、
前記単一バッテリ・リボンは、活性電極材料で覆われたアノード及びカソードと、前記アノードと前記カソードとの間のセパレータとを備え、連続単一層を形成しており、
前記ブロック、及び、前記相互接続部分を囲む真空包装を備え、
前記真空包装は、前記相互接続部分の第1の側、及び、前記第1の側の反対側である前記相互接続部分の第2の側に接触するように構成される中間接続部分を備えた、
装置。 - 前記相互接続部分は、いかなる活性電極材料をも有さない、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ブロックの各々は、ロール・ケーキ構造を備える、請求項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ブロックの各々は、折りたたみスタック構造を備える、請求項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記単一バッテリ・リボンの前記相互接続部分は、前記単一バッテリ・リボンのいずれの前記ブロックより、狭い幅を有する、請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記単一バッテリ・リボンの前記相互接続部分は、前記単一バッテリ・リボンのいずれの前記ブロックより、小さな断面を有する、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ブロックは、いずれも円筒形の形状を有する、請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ブロックは、いずれも直方体の形状を有する、請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 活性電極材料で覆われたアノード及びカソードと、前記アノードと前記カソードとの間のセパレータとを備え、連続単一層を形成している単一バッテリ・リボンを準備するステップと、
機械式ローラーで前記単一バッテリ・リボンをつかむステップと、
前記機械式ローラーで前記単一バッテリ・リボンのバッテリ・リボン・セクションをロールして、3つ以上のブロックと、該ブロックの間の相互接続部分とを形成するステップと、
前記ブロックと前記相互接続部分に真空包装用包装材料を適用するステップと、
前記真空包装用包装材料を前記相互接続部分の第1の側、及び、前記第1の側の反対側である前記相互接続部分の第2の側に接触するように挟んで締め付けるステップと
真空包装用包装材料に真空化プロセスにより真空包装を実行するステップと、
を含み、
前記ステップは記載の順に実行される、
単一バッテリ・リボンを備える装置の製造方法。 - 複数の前記バッテリ・リボン・セクションは、同時にロールされる、請求項9に記載の製造方法。
- 前記真空化プロセスは、前記真空包装用包装材料が適用された前記ブロック及び前記相互接続部分から空気を排出する、請求項9又は10のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記真空包装は、前記ブロックの周りの全てを取り囲む、請求項9ないし11のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
