Claims (27)
- 各電極の両面に少なくとも一つの分離膜が位置し、少なくとも一つの負極と少なくとも一つの正極が交互に順次積層された複数のユニットセルが積層され、
前記複数のユニットセルの少なくとも一つは隣接するユニットセルに対して面積差を有し、前記面積差により形成された段差を一つ以上含む電極組立体であって、
前記電極組立体は負極または正極の単一電極が少なくとも一つ積層され、
前記単一電極は積層方向に対して電極組立体の一方の端及び他方の端のいずれか一つに位置し、隣接するユニットセルと段差を形成する電極組立体。 - 前記段差を1つまたは2つ含む、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記ユニットセルは、スタック・アンド・フォールディング型ユニットセル、ジェリーロール型ユニットセル、ラミネーション・アンド・スタック型ユニットセルまたはこれらが組み合わせられたユニットセルを少なくとも一つ含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記スタック・アンド・フォールディング型ユニットセルは、少なくとも一つの負極、少なくとも一つの正極、少なくとも一つの正極と少なくとも一つの負極が分離膜を境界として交互に積層されたユニットセル、またはこれらの組み合わせが少なくとも一つの長方形分離膜により折り畳まれて形成されたものである、請求項3に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記スタック・アンド・フォールディング型ユニットセル、ジェリーロール型ユニットセル、ラミネーション・アンド・スタック型ユニットセルまたはこれらが組み合わせられたユニットセルは、少なくとも一つの段差を有する、請求項3に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記段差を形成するユニットセルとそれに隣接するユニットセルのうち面積の大きいユニットセルの対面電極が負極である、請求項1から請求項5の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 負極活物質がコーティングされた面積が正極活物質がコーティングされた面積より大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項6の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体の積層方向の一方の端及び他方の端に位置する電極は、少なくとも一つが負極または正極で、前記正極は一面が無地部である単面コーティング正極であり、前記無地部が外部を向くように配置される、請求項1から請求項7の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記負極及び正極はそれぞれ負極及び正極の電極タブを含み、前記電極タブは同一極性同士が互いに電気的に連結された、請求項1から請求項8の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記負極及び正極の電極タブは、電極組立体の同じ端部または異なる端部に位置するように付着され、同一極性の電極タブ同士は電極の同じ端部に付着される、請求項9に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極タブは、そのサイズが同一または異なる、請求項9または請求項10に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記ユニットセルの少なくとも一つは少なくとも一つのコーナー部の形状が異なるユニットセルである、請求項1から請求項11の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は少なくとも一つのコーナー部が曲面状であるユニットセルを一つ以上含む、請求項1から請求項12の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記ユニットセルは曲面状のコーナー部を2以上含み、前記コーナー部の曲率は互いに同一または異なる、請求項13に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は前記少なくとも一つのコーナー部が曲面状であるユニットセルを2以上含み、少なくとも一つのユニットセルは他のユニットセルと曲率が異なる曲面状のコーナー部を有する、請求項13に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は相互隣接する電極のうち少なくとも一つが対面する他の電極の面内に含まれるように積層された、請求項1から請求項15の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は前記ユニットセルが積層される高さ方向に向かうほど、ユニットセルの面積が小さくなるように積層された、請求項1から請求項16の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は各ユニットセルの一コーナー部が一致する配列で積層されている、請求項1から請求項17の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 積層体は各ユニットセルの中心部が一致するように積層された、請求項1から請求項18の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記ユニットセルは、その厚さが同一または異なる、請求項1から請求項19の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 請求項1から請求項20の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体が電池ケースに収納されている電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースはパウチ型ケースである、請求項21に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースは内部に電極組立体を収納し、電極組立体の形状に対応して段差または傾斜面を有する、請求項22に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池セルはリチウムイオン二次電池またはリチウムイオンポリマー二次電池である、請求項21から請求項23の何れか一項に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項21から請求項24の何れか一項に記載の電池セルを一つ以上含む、デバイス。
- 前記電池セルの余剰空間にデバイスのシステム部品が位置する、請求項25に記載のデバイス。
- 前記デバイスは携帯電話、携帯用コンピューター、スマートフォン、スマートパッド、ネットブック、LEV(Light Electronic Vehicle)、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、または電力貯蔵装置である、請求項25または請求項26に記載のデバイス。
