Claims (2)
- 加熱される加熱ローラーと、
該加熱ローラーとの間に定着ニップを形成する加圧ローラーと、
前記加熱ローラーの温度を非接触で検知する非接触式の温度検知装置と、を備える定着装置であって、
前記温度検知装置は、
前記加熱ローラーに対向する温度検知面を有する温度検知センサーと、
該温度検知センサーの前記温度検知面側の第1の空間と、前記温度検知面と反対側の第2の空間とに仕切る仕切り板と、
該仕切り板の前記第1の空間側の面に突設される、断面形状が凸状に湾曲した風路形成部材と、
前記第1の空間と前記第2の空間とに、同風量の気流を同時に形成する送風機と、
前記温度検知センサーの外周に沿って設けられ、前記第1の空間と前記第2の空間とを連通する通気孔と、を備え、
前記第1の空間に形成された気流は、前記風路形成部材の外周面に沿って湾曲しながら流れる一方で、前記第2の空間に形成された気流は、前記仕切り板の表面に沿って直線状に流れることで、前記第1の空間に形成される気流の長さが、前記第2の空間に形成される気流の長さよりも長くなって、前記第2の空間から前記第1の空間へ前記通気孔を通る気流が発生することを特徴とする定着装置。 - 請求項1に記載の定着装置を備えていることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
