Description
1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が10〜20の直鎖状パラフィン10〜60重量%とを含み、
低融点ワックスを任意に含むワセリン組成物であって、
滴点(融点)が35℃〜80℃である、ワセリン組成物が提供される。
1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が25〜70のワックスであって、メチル側鎖およびエチル側鎖から選択される側鎖を有する分枝状パラフィン類を5〜50重量%含むワックスに、1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が10〜20の直鎖状パラフィンとを混合し、さらに低融点ワックスを任意に混合し、前記ワセリン組成物を得る工程を有し、
この工程において、前記ワセリン組成物中の前記ワックスの含量が10〜60重量%、前記直鎖状パラフィンの含量が10〜60重量%となるに十分な量の該ワックスおよび該直鎖状パラフィンを用い、
前記ワセリン組成物の滴点(融点)が35℃〜80℃である、プロセスが提供される。
(ワセリンの調製)
ワセリン組成物/サンプルを下記の方法で調製した。各例において、上記ワックス成分と上記低融点ワックス成分を100℃のオーブン内で融解させた。室温で液状の上記パラフィンについても、100℃のオーブン内で予備加熱を行った。融解させたワックスを清浄なステンレス製ビーカーに移し、秤に載せ、ペトロリアム・ジェリーの処方にしたがって必要量のワックスを正確に秤量した。上記流動パラフィンと混合する前の上記ワックスの温度は、流動パラフィンと同様、80℃であることを確認した。これら融解物は、得られる混合物が透明となるまで攪拌し、その後5時間放置して固化させた。
上記ワセリン組成物の各成分の側鎖の種類と含有量とを、Varian CP-3800 GCを用いた高温ガスクロマトグラフィ(HTGC)により決定した。キャリアガスにはH2を用いた。Restek MXT-1 (100%架橋ジメチルポリシロキサン)をキャピラリーカラム(長さ15m、内径0.28mm、固定相膜厚0.15μm)として用いた。注入にはプログラム式のオンカラム・インジェクタを用い、水素炎イオン化検出器(FID)を使用した。上記ワックスの溶媒としてはキシレンを用いた。表2に本法で採用した条件をまとめる。
上記の処方と物性分析結果とを下記表3に示す。
(パーソナルケア製品へのワセリンの適用)
レオロジーとは、物質の変形や流動を、製品に加わる剪断速度または剪断応力の関数として理解する科学の一分野である。本実施例におけるレオロジー的測定は、Anton Paarレオメーター(アントン・パール社、オーストリア)を用いて行った。このAnton Paarレオメーターは応力制御型の機種で動的、静的の双方の剪断応力測定に対応でき、印加された剪断応力に応じてサンプルが発生させるトルク値を測定するものである。動的/静的剪断応力はステッピング・モーターにより印加され、上記トルクはフォース・リバランス・トランスデューサー(FRT)で測定される。
本調査では、クリーム・サンプルの流動開始点τFを上記の粘度曲線(図1)の極大点ηmaxから求めた。
Claims (10)
- 1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が25〜70の大結晶合成ワックスであって、メチル側鎖およびエチル側鎖から選択される側鎖を有する分枝状パラフィン類を5〜50重量%含む、大結晶合成ワックス10〜60重量%と、
1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が10〜20の直鎖状合成パラフィン10〜60重量%と、
1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が20〜30であって、滴点(融点)が20℃〜30℃である、合成の、低融点のフィッシャー・トロプシュワックスとを含むワセリン組成物であって、
滴点(融点)が35℃〜80℃である、ワセリン組成物。 - 前記大結晶合成ワックスが前記ワセリン組成物の20〜40重量%を占める、請求項1に記載のワセリン組成物。
- 前記大結晶合成ワックスは、水素化異性化ワックス、水素化異性化フィッシャー・トロプシュワックス、α−オレフィンワックス、およびフィッシャー・トロプシュワックスからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載のワセリン組成物。
- 前記直鎖状合成パラフィンが前記ワセリン組成物の20〜40重量%を占める、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のワセリン組成物。
- 滴点(融点)が35℃〜70℃である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のワセリン組成物。
- ちょう度(ASTM D217−10に規定された円錐を用いASTM D937−07にしたがって測定)が60〜300mm/10である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のワセリン組成物。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のワセリン組成物の、化粧品用途、またはケーブル充填用途における使用。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のワセリン組成物の、化粧品、医薬品、ケーブル充填用製品または充填されたケーブル製品の製造における使用。
- 化粧品、医薬品、ケーブル充填用製品または充填されたケーブル製品の製造方法であって、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のワセリン組成物を、化粧用組成物または物質、医薬用組成物または物質、ケーブル充填用組成物または物質、またはケーブルまたはケーブル部品に添加し、該化粧品、該医薬品、該ケーブル充填用製品または該充填されたケーブル製品を得る、製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載のワセリン組成物を調製するプロセスであって、該プロセスは、
1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が25〜70の大結晶合成ワックスであって、メチル側鎖およびエチル側鎖から選択される側鎖を有する分枝状パラフィン類を5〜50重量%含む大結晶合成ワックスに、1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が10〜20の直鎖状合成パラフィンと、1分子当たりの平均炭素原子数が20〜30であって、滴点(融点)が20℃〜30℃である、合成の、低融点のフィッシャー・トロプシュワックスとを混合し、前記ワセリン組成物を得る工程を有し、
前記ワセリン組成物中の前記大結晶合成ワックスの含量が10〜60重量%、前記直鎖状合成パラフィンの含量が10〜60重量%となるのに十分な量の該大結晶合成ワックスおよび該直鎖状合成パラフィンを用い、
前記ワセリン組成物の滴点(融点)が35℃〜80℃である、プロセス。
