Claims (5)
- バックライトモジュールと、
バックライトモジュール上に重ね合わせて設けられた表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルと前記バックライトモジュールとの間にあって前記表示パネルと前記バックライトモジュールとを貼り合わせるための両面粘着テープおよび保護フィルムと、を含んでなる表示装置であって、
前記表示パネルは、上偏光シートと、上層ガラスと、下層ガラスと、下偏光シートと、を順に積層して構成されており、かつ、前記下層ガラスの外縁部が延伸してフレーム領域を形成しており、
前記保護フィルムは粘着性がなく、かつ、複数の窓を有し、前記保護フィルムは前記両面粘着テープの一方の面に貼着し、
前記両面粘着テープの他方の面は前記バックライトモジュールに粘着し、
前記表示パネルの前記フレーム領域は、前記保護フィルムの前記両面粘着テープに接する側とは反対の側に位置しており、かつ、前記保護フィルムの前記窓を介してのみ前記両面粘着テープと前記フレーム領域とが接触し、これにより前記表示パネルの前記フレーム領域と前記バックライトモジュールとが粘着し、かつ、
前記両面粘着テープが前記下偏光フィルムの下面に至るまで延伸し、前記下偏光シートの前記下面と前記バックライトモジュールの上面との間に前記両面粘着テープを挟んで前記下偏光シートの前記下面と前記バックライトモジュールの上面とが粘着し、このとき、前記保護フィルムと前記下偏光シートの上面が同一の高さの平面となるように高さを揃える
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の表示装置において、
前記フレーム領域の上面にチップとフレキシブル回路基板とを設け、前記チップと前記フレキシブル回路基板とを設けることによって前記表示パネルのタッチ機能を実現する
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の表示装置において、
前記バックライトモジュールが、樹脂枠と、導光板と、光学フィルムと、ストリップライト光源とを含み、
前記導光板が、前記樹脂枠が囲繞する空間内に設けられ、
前記ストリップライト光源が、前記樹脂枠と前記導光板とが隣り合う位置に設けられ、
前記光学フィルムが、前記導光板上に積層して設けられ、
前記下偏光シートが、前記光学フィルムの前記導光板側とは反対の側に設けられ、
前記両面粘着テープが、前記樹脂枠と、前記ストリップライト光源と、前記光学フィルムの外縁部に粘着する
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項3に記載の表示装置において、
前記ストリップライト光源が、ベース座と発光部材とを含み、
前記発光部材が前記ベース座の一方の側に突設し、かつ前記発光部材が前記樹脂枠と前記導光板との間に延伸し、
前記ベース座の前記発光部材を設ける側と反対の側の表面は前記樹脂枠の上面と高さを揃え、
両者によって共同で貼着面を形成し、前記両面粘着テープが前記貼着面に粘着する
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の表示装置において、
前記保護フィルムが、前記両面粘着テープと一体に構成されるか、もしくは分離した構造とされる
ことを特徴とする表示装置。
