Description
図1から図4は、本発明に係る魚釣用リール(スピニングリール)の第1の実施形態を示す図であり、図1は内部構成を示した図、図2は図1に示す魚釣用リールの主要部の拡大図、図3は図2に示す軸受を拡大して示す図、そじて、図4は図3に示す軸受の磁気シール機構部分を拡大して示す図である。
以下、本実施形態の磁気シール機構20について詳細に説明する。なお、スプール軸9を中心として両側に設置されている軸受3,3は、同一の構成となっているため、同一の構成要素については、同一の参照符号を付してある。
このように構成することで、組み込み性の向上が図れると共に、確実なシール性を維持することが可能となる。
なお、このような両軸受型リールでは、ピニオンギア35を回転可能に支持する軸受48a,48b、及び、ハンドル軸40の基端側でハンドル軸を回転可能に支持する前記軸受38についても、同様なシール構造を設置した軸受3としても良い。
なお、このような電動リールにおいても、スプール軸56を支持する軸受58やハンドル軸を支持する軸受等に、同様なシール構造を設置した軸受3を配設しても良い。
なお、本実施形態の電動リールは、様々な個所に軸受が配設されるが、必要に応じて、上記した構成の軸受3を配設しても良い。例えば、スプール軸96を支持する軸受170やハンドル軸95aを支持する軸受172等に、同様なシール構造を設置した軸受3を配設しても良い。

Claims (5)
- スプールに釣糸を巻回する際に回転駆動される駆動軸を、内輪と外輪の開口側にリング状の磁石を配設して磁性流体を保持し、前記内外輪に配設した転動体をシールする磁性流体シール付き軸受で回転可能に支持した魚釣用リールにおいて、
前記磁性流体シール付き軸受は、前記リング状の磁石が軸方向に着磁されて外輪側と内輪側に磁気回路を形成すると共に、前記リング状の磁石の軸方向外側面に面して配設され前記リング状の磁石と略同一形状の極板と、前記内輪と磁石を保持した極板との間、及び/又は前記内輪と磁石との間に保持される内輪側磁性流体と、前記外輪と磁石を保持した極板との間、及び/又は前記外輪と磁石との間に保持される外輪側磁性流体と、を有しており、
前記磁性流体シール付き軸受の径方向及び軸方向に隣接する部品を非磁性材で形成し、
前記外輪又は内輪の転動体側内面には、段差が形成され、この段差により、軸方向の外側の内外輪間隔が、内側よりも大きく形成されていることを特徴とする魚釣用リール。 - スプールに釣糸を巻回する際に回転駆動される駆動軸を備えた魚釣用リールにおいて、
内輪と磁石を保持した極板との間、及び/又は内輪と磁石との間に保持される内輪側磁性流体と、外輪と磁石を保持した極板との間、及び/又は外輪と磁石との間に保持される外輪側磁性流体と、を有する磁性流体シール付軸受で、前記駆動軸を回転可能に支持しており、
前記内輪又は外輪には、前記極板との間の隙間部分に、前記極板の軸方向の厚さの範囲内にエッジが位置するように、磁性流体保持用の段差が形成されると共に、前記外輪又は内輪の転動体側内面には、前記段差とは別の段差が形成され、この段差により、軸方向の外側の内外輪間隔が、内側よりも大きく形成されていることを特徴とする魚釣用リール。 - 前記極板は、前記外輪の端面及び内輪の端面から窪んだ状態で位置付けされていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の魚釣用リール。
- 前記外輪、内輪、及び極板の部材の内、少なくとも1つ以上に、電解クロム酸処理又は無電解ニッケルメッキ処理が施されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の魚釣用リール。
- 前記外輪、内輪、及び極板の部材の内、少なくとも1つ以上に、ステンレス系の高耐食材を用いたことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の魚釣用リール。
