Claims (9)
- 有機発光アレイ、前記有機発光アレイを駆動する薄膜トランジスタアレイ、及び、第1接着層を介して前記有機発光アレイと合着されるタッチ電極アレイを含み、少なくとも一つの折畳領域を有する表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの背面に第2接着層を介して付着される支持部と、
を備え、
前記表示パネルが折り畳まれる場合に、前記タッチ電極アレイは、前記有機発光アレイの一側端部を越えて延伸し、前記有機発光アレイの他側端部に対向して位置するタッチ電極アレイ延長部を含み、
前記表示パネルは、折り畳まれたときに、前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部に対応する表示領域で映像を表示する
折畳式表示装置。 - 前記支持部は、前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部の背面まで伸び、
前記支持部の伸びた領域に位置する第2接着層の厚さは、前記支持部の他の領域に位置する第2接着層の厚さよりも、前記有機発光アレイ及び前記薄膜トランジスタアレイの厚さの分だけ厚く形成されることにより、前記タッチ電極アレイと前記支持部を接着する
請求項1に記載の折畳式表示装置。 - 前記支持部の伸びた領域は、透明ガラス又は透明ポリマーからなる
請求項2に記載の折畳式表示装置。 - 前記表示パネル、偏光板、及び前記支持部を、固定又は収納する外部フレームをさらに備え、
前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部は、前記外部フレームによって固定される
請求項1に記載の折畳式表示装置。 - 前記タッチ電極アレイは、複数の第1電極パターンが第1方向に連結された第1タッチ電極と、複数の第2電極パターンが連結パターンを介して第2方向に連結された第2タッチ電極とを含み、
前記第1方向に同一線上に位置する前記第1タッチ電極を含む第1タッチ電極ラインは、複数の第1タッチパッド電極のいずれか一つに共通して接続され、
前記第2方向に同一線上に位置する前記第2タッチ電極を含む第2タッチ電極ラインは、複数の第2タッチパッド電極のいずれか一つに共通して接続され、
前記第1タッチパッド電極は、少なくとも一つの第1タッチ電極ラインに接続され、
前記第2タッチパッド電極は、少なくとも一つの第2タッチ電極ラインに接続される
請求項1に記載の折畳式表示装置。 - 前記第1タッチパッド電極のいずれか一つに接続されたn(nは1以上の自然数)個の前記第1タッチ電極ラインと、前記第2タッチパッド電極のいずれか一つに接続された前記n個の前記第2タッチ電極ラインとが交差するノードを含み、4辺が前記ノードの外側に隣接した第1及び第2電極パターンを2等分するように通る方形の単位センサが規定され、
前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部に位置する前記単位センサである延長部単位センサのピッチは、前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部を除いた領域に位置する前記単位センサのピッチのM(Mは2以上の自然数)倍であり、
前記延長部単位センサは、前記単位センサと同一の形態を有し、前記単位センサのピッチより1〜2mm大きなピッチを有する第1延長部センサ、及び、前記第1延長部センサから前記延長部単位センサの境界部まで伸びる複数の方形延長電極を含む
請求項5に記載の折畳式表示装置。 - 前記延長部単位センサの延長電極は、隣接した他の延長部単位センサの第1電極パターン又は第2電極パターンと接続される
請求項6に記載の折畳式表示装置。 - 前記延長部単位センサの延長電極は、隣接した他の延長部単位センサの延長電極と接し、
前記延長部単位センサの第1電極パターンは、前記隣接した他の延長部単位センサの第1タッチ電極パターンと接し、
前記延長部単位センサの第2電極パターンは、前記隣接した他の延長部単位センサの第2電極パターンと接する
請求項6に記載の折畳式表示装置。 - 前記タッチ電極アレイを駆動する駆動IC、及び、前記駆動ICを制御するMCUをさらに備え、
前記MCUは、前記表示パネルの折畳状態を感知し、折り畳まれたときには前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部でのタッチセンシングを活性化させるように前記駆動ICを制御し、折り畳まれたときに露出される表示領域に対応する領域のタッチセンシングを非活性化するように前記駆動ICを制御するか、折り畳まれたときに露出される表示領域に対応する領域のタッチ電極アレイからのタッチ信号より前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部からのタッチ信号を先に感知し、展開時には前記タッチ電極アレイ延長部のタッチセンシングが非活性化するように前記駆動ICを制御する
