Claims (3)
- 吸気を気筒の燃焼室に向けて流通させる主流路部と、前記主流路部と燃焼室との間に介在して両者を連通せしめるスロート部とを吸気ポートに備え、
前記主流路部の下縁を直線状に成形し、その下縁を燃焼室に向かって延長させた延長線が、最大リフト量をとる吸気バルブの弁体の傘部よりも上方に位置し、
前記主流路部の下縁とスロート部との交差箇所を屈曲形状に成形し、
かつ、前記主流路部の上縁と下縁との中間近傍に位置する中間線を燃焼室に向かって延長させた延長線が、吸気バルブの弁体が着座する弁座における排気ポートに最も近い部位よりも下方に位置し、
前記スロート部が、円筒状の内周をなす基部と、基部の上方にあって部分切頭円錐状の内周をなす頂部とを有しており、その頂部の吸気バルブの弁体の中心軸線方向に沿った高さ寸法が、基部の同軸線方向に沿った高さ寸法よりも小さい内燃機関。 - 前記スロート部の基部の上縁が基部の全周に亘って弁座から略同じ高さにあり、スロート部の基部と頂部との交差箇所を屈曲形状に成形している請求項1記載の内燃機関。
- 吸気バルブの弁体が着座する弁座に四段のテーパ面を設けている請求項1または2記載の内燃機関。
