Description
光源211は、少なくともレーザーダイオード、LED、ランプの一つ、もしくは、これらの光を受けて蛍光を発する蛍光材、または、これらの組み合わせで構成されてよい。このような光源211は、小型に搭載可能であり、接続ケーブル200のサイズを小型に構成することが可能となる。具体的なサイズは、およそ管状装置100と管状装置処理ボックスとを接続しているケーブルのサイズ程度で可能となる。また、このような光源211は重量も軽量であるため、医療関係者が重みで困難することの無い重量に接続ケーブル200を構成することが可能となる。レーザーダイオードのように戻り光が出力に影響を与える場合、光源211はアイソレータ(図示せず)などを含んでいてもよい。
Claims (12)
- 可撓性の挿入部と物理量を検出するための物理量検出器とを備えた管状装置と、前記物理量検出器の信号を処理する物理量検出器用信号処理ボックスと、前記管状装置と前記物理量検出器用信号処理ボックスとを接続する、前記管状装置と前記物理量検出器用信号処理ボックスの双方に対して着脱可能な接続ケーブルを有している管状システムにおいて、
前記物理量検出器は、前記挿入部に配置された光導波路を有しており、前記接続ケーブルは、前記物理量検出器の光導波路に光を供給する光源と、前記物理量検出器によって変調された光を検出する光検出器と、前記物理量検出器との間で光信号の授受を行う光入出射部と、前記物理量検出器用信号処理ボックスとの間で電気信号の授受を行う電気入出力部を有しており、前記物理量検出器と前記光源と前記光検出器と前記光入出射部は、前記物理量を検出するセンサを構成することを特徴とする管状システム。 - 前記接続ケーブルは、前記管状装置に対して着脱可能に構成された第一の着脱部と、前記物理量検出器用信号処理ボックスに対して着脱可能に構成された第二の着脱部と、前記第一の着脱部と前記第二の着脱部とを接続している接続部材を有しており、前記光入出射部は前記第一の着脱部に収容され、前記電気入出力部は前記第二の着脱部に収容され、前記光源は、前記第一の着脱部と前記第二の着脱部のいずれかに収容され、前記光検出器は、前記第一の着脱部と前記第二の着脱部のいずれかに収容されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の管状システム。
- 前記光源と前記光検出器は、前記第一の着脱部に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の管状システム。
- 前記接続ケーブルは、前記光入出射部と前記光源と前記光検出器との間の光の流れを定めている光分配部をさらに有しており、前記光分配部は、前記光源と前記光検出器と一緒に前記第二の着脱部に収容されているか、前記第一の着脱部に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の管状システム。
- 前記接続ケーブルは、前記管状装置に対して着脱可能に構成された第一の着脱部と、前記物理量検出器用信号処理ボックスに対して着脱可能に構成された第二の着脱部と、前記第一の着脱部と前記第二の着脱部の間に配置された中継部と、前記第一の着脱部と前記中継部とを接続している第一の接続部材と、前記中継部と前記第二の着脱部とを接続している第二の接続部材を有しており、前記光入出射部は前記第一の着脱部に収容され、前記電気入出力部は前記第二の着脱部に収容され、前記光源と前記光検出器の一方は前記中継部に収容され、前記光源と前記光検出器の他方は、前記第一の着脱部と前記中継部のいずれかに収容されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の管状システム。
- 前記接続ケーブルは、前記光入出射部と前記光源と前記光検出器との間の光の流れを定めている光分配部をさらに有しており、前記光分配部は、前記光源と前記光検出器と一緒に前記中継部に収容されているか、前記第一の着脱部に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の管状システム。
- 前記管状装置は内視鏡であり、前記接続ケーブルはさらに、前記内視鏡による撮影に必要な照明光を供給する照明光導波路を有していることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかひとつに記載の管状システム。
- 前記光源は、少なくともレーザーダイオード、LED、ランプの一つ、もしくは、これらの光を受けて蛍光を発する蛍光材、または、これらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかひとつに記載の管状システム。
- 前記接続ケーブルと前記物理量検出器用信号処理ボックスの間で授受される電気信号は、前記物理量検出器によって変調された光が光電変換された後の電流信号、前記電流信号が電流/電圧変換された後の電圧信号、前記電圧信号がアナログ/デジタル変換された後のデジタル信号のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかひとつに記載の管状システム。
- 前記光入出射部は、光ファイバー同士の接続、集光光学系、平行光接続のいずれかを介して前記物理量検出器と接続されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかひとつに記載の管状システム。
- 前記センサは、前記管状装置の前記挿入部の形状変化に伴い前記光導波路に加えられた形状変化に基づいて前記挿入部の形状変化を検出する形状センサであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかひとつに記載の管状システム。
- 前記光分配部は、光ファイバーを利用した光ファイバーカプラ、ビームスプリッター、ハーフミラー、MEMSミラー、分光素子の少なくともひとつを有していることを特徴とする請求項4または6に記載の管状システム。
