Description
さらに、車両運動性能確保(ヨー慣性モーメントの低減)やデザイン性(美観)確保のために、フロントオーバハングを短くすると、上述のヘッドランプユニット周辺との干渉や冷却性能の低下が懸念されるものである。
上述の灯火補機は、コントローラおよびAFS(アクティブ・フロントライティング・システム)アクチュエータに設定してもよい。
すなわち、車両前部灯火の前後長の短縮と、冷却性能の確保とを両立することができ、これにより、車両レイアウトの自由度向上と、フロントオーバハングの短縮とを図ることができる。
上述の発光部はLEDに設定してもよく、発光部の補機は、プリント配線基板および当該基板を覆う筐体に設定してもよい。
図面は車両の前部構造を示し、図1は当該前部構造を備えた車両の斜視図、図2は図1の車両を左側後方から見た状態で示す斜視図である。
車両前部に位置するエンジンルーム1は、その上方部がボンネット2で覆われており、その左右両側部がフロントフェンダ3,3(詳しくは、フロントフェンダパネル)で覆われており、その前方部がフロントグリル4を備えたフロントバンパフェース5で覆われている。
上述のフロントフェンダ3は、前輪7に対応してホイールアーチ部8を有するものである。
上述のサイドドア11の後部にはリヤフェンダ12が設けられており、このリヤフェンダ12は、後輪13に対応してホイールアーチ部14を有するものである。
図3は車両前部灯火(以下、ヘッドランプユニットと称する)を示す正面図、図4は図3の矢印A−A方向から見た状態で示すヘッドランプユニットの斜視図、図5は図3のB−B線矢視断面図である。
上述のカバー部材22の下方で、かつヘッドランプ24の車幅方向外方または車幅方向内方(この実施例では車幅方向内方)には、前部開口23fと後部開口23eとを車両前後方向に連通して、車両前方からの走行風が通過可能な通風路27が形成されている。
上述のAFSアクチュエータ25およびコントローラ26は灯火補機であって、該灯火補機がヘッドランプ24の後部上方に配置されたものである。
図6の(a)は図2のC−C線に沿う要部の矢視断面図、図6の(b)は図2のD−D線に沿う要部の矢視断面図、図7は図2の要部拡大側面図、図8の(a)は図7のX−X線矢視断面図、図8の(b)は図7のY−Y線矢視断面図、図8の(c)は図7のZ−Z線矢視断面図である。
上述の凹状部40は開口部41よりも車両後方へさらに延在されている。すなわち、サイドドア11のドアアウタパネル11aを車両平面視および車両正面視で滑らかな曲率状に車幅方向内方へ凹状に凹ませて延在凹部42が形成されている。
上述の凹状部40および延在凹部42は、車両平面視でも車両正面視でも、滑らかな曲率状に車幅方向内方へ凹状に凹んでおり、特に凹状部40には、図6の(a)に示すように、乱流(a)により負圧が三次元的に発生することになる。
さらに、上述の下側変曲部45の下部であるフロントフェンダ3の下部3aは、サイドシルアウタの車幅方向外側に位置するボディサイドアウタパネル46と車両前後方向に面一状に連続するよう形成されている。
さらに、上述の前後の取付け座47,48および開口部41を含んで、車両の前後方向に延びる突出部材50を設け、この突出部材50は当該突出部材50に一体または一体的に形成された複数のクリップ49で取付け座48に取付けられている。
なお、図中、矢印Fは車両前方を示し、矢印Rは車両後方を示し、矢印INは車幅方向の内方を示し、矢印OUTは車幅方向の外方を示し、矢印UPは車両上方を示す。
すなわち、車両前部灯火(ヘッドランプユニット21)の前後長の短縮と、冷却性能の確保とを両立することができ、これにより、車両レイアウトの自由度向上と、フロントオーバハングの短縮とを図ることができる。
この発明の車両前部灯火は、実施例のヘッドランプユニット21に対応し、

Claims (4)
- 車両前部の車幅方向両端部に車両前部灯火が設けられた車両の前部構造であって、
上記車両前部灯火は、カバー部材とヘッドランプユニットケースとを備え、
上記車両前部灯火のうち少なくとも前照灯よりも上方に配置された上記カバー部材の前端が後端よりも下方に設けられ、
上記カバー部材の下方で、かつ上記前照灯の車幅方向外方または車幅方向内方に、車両前方からの走行風が通過可能な通風路が形成され、
上記前照灯の後部上方には灯火補機が配置され、
該灯火補機は上記前照灯後部の上方で上記ヘッドランプユニットケースの後壁よりも前方に配置され、
上記灯火補機および前照灯の少なくとも何れか一方には空冷手段が設けられており、
該空冷手段は放熱フィンであり、該放熱フィンは上記前照灯の車幅方向外側または車幅方向内側に設けられた上記通風路に面して前後方向に延設して配置された
車両の前部構造。 - 上記ヘッドランプユニットケースに、通風路が正面から見て上記前照灯の配置位置を含むように後方開口が形成されると共に、
上記車両前部灯火の前端には、上記後方開口よりも車幅方向に広い前部開口が設けられた
