Claims (14)
- 部品が使用に適していることを認証する方法であって、
無線識別(RFID)デバイスが取り付けられた部品を用意する段階であって、RFIDデバイスが、冗長な認証情報を有する強誘電体メモリ(FRAM)部分を含むメモリを含んでおり、前記部品及びRFIDデバイスが25〜50kGyの範囲の線量のガンマ線を用いて滅菌されており、前記ガンマ線によって前記メモリのFRAM部分の1以上の領域が壊れる、段階と、
前記ガンマ線によって壊れる1以上の領域からのデータも含めて、前記メモリの複数の読み出しを得る段階であって、複数の読み出しが、メモリを読み出す際に(a)様々な電力レベルを用いた及び/又は(b)RFIDデバイスとの間の様々な距離に置かれたRFIDリーダによって得られる段階と、
認証情報を求めるため複数の読み出しを解析する段階と、
認証情報を用いて、部品が使用に適していることを認証する段階と
を含んでなる方法。 - 前記RFIDデバイスがRFIDタグを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記RFIDデバイスがRFIDセンサを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記冗長な認証情報が、前記メモリの複数の領域に書き込まれた冗長な情報である、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記メモリが、前記ガンマ線によって壊れる1以上の領域も含めて、メモリの様々な領域の誤り訂正可能な情報の複数のコピーを含む、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 複数の読み出しを解析する段階が、前記ガンマ線によって壊れる1以上の領域を、他の領域との比較により、同定することを含む、請求項5記載の方法。
- 複数の読み出しを解析する段階が、前記ガンマ線によって壊れる1以上の領域からのデータが他の領域のデータと異なっていることを判定することを含む、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記メモリが、相補型金属酸化膜半導体(CMOS)部分とFRAM部分とを含むメモリチップの一部である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 認証情報を用いて、部品が使用に適していることを認証する段階が、
(a)部品の識別情報、
(b)トラックアンドトレースに基づく妥当性の確認、
(c)部品の経歴の判定、
(d)暗号又は暗号化鍵の使用、又は
(e)部品のシリアル番号の一致
の少なくとも1つを利用することを含む、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項記載の方法。 - 部品がバイオプロセス部品である、請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記バイオプロセス部品を認証した後に、ユーザに重要なデータを提供することを更に含む、請求項10記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザに重要なデータがバイオプロセス部品の製造時のデータである、請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記バイオプロセス部品が使い捨てバイオプロセス部品である、請求項10乃至請求項12のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記バイオプロセス部品が、ステンレス鋼容器、バイオリアクター、プラスチック容器、ポリマー材料容器、クロマトグラフィデバイス、濾過デバイス及び遠心分離デバイスからなる群から選択される、請求項10乃至請求項13のいずれか1項記載の方法。
