Description
RFIDセンサは、FRAM(登録商標)メモリチップMB89R118A(富士通株式会社、日本)と共に組み立てられた。これらのチップは、強誘電体メモリと結合した標準的な0.35μmCMOS回路を使用して作成される。MB89R118Aチップの総メモリ量は2000バイトである。FRAM(登録商標)メモリチップは、RFIDタグに組み込まれた。デジタルデータの書込み及び読取りは、Wave Logic LLC(Scotts Valley、CA)のリーダ/ライタを使用して実行された。無線周波数に基づくセンサの複素インピーダンスの測定は、LabVIEWを使用するコンピュータ制御の下で、ネットワークアナライザ(型式E5062A、Agilent Technologies,Inc.、Santa Clara、CA)により実行された。ネットワークアナライザは、注目する範囲にわたる周波数をスキャンし、RFIDセンサからの複素インピーダンス応答を集めるのに使用された。集められた複素インピーダンスデータは、Excel(MicroSoft Inc.、Seattle、WA)、又はKaleidaGraph(Synergy Software、Reading、PA)、及びMatlab(The Mathworks Inc.、Natick、MA)と共に動作するPLS_Toolbox(Eigenvector Research,Inc.、Manson、WA)を使用して分析された。

Claims (8)
- 所定の範囲の電力開始レベル及び共振回路パラメータを有する無線周波数識別(RFID)センサ部品を使用して、環境の物理的、化学的及び生物学的特性を検知する方法であって、当該方法が、
前記RFIDセンサ部品を活性化して、前記センサ部品の活性化に必要な電力レベルの範囲が、前記所定の範囲の電力開始レベルよりも狭いか否かを判定する段階と、
前記環境の物理的、化学的及び生物学的特性の少なくとも1つを検知する段階と、
前記センサの活性化に必要な電力レベルの範囲に基づいて選択された共振パラメータを使用して、検知された前記環境の特性を定量化する段階と
を含んでおり、前記センサ部品のガンマ線への暴露によって前記センサの活性化に必要な電力レベルの範囲に変化が起こる、方法。 - 前記RFIDセンサの選択された共振パラメータが、前記RFIDセンサの複素インピーダンス応答から計算されたパラメータ、前記RFIDセンサの複素インピーダンス応答の実数部、前記RFIDセンサの複素インピーダンス応答の虚数部を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記RFIDセンサの選択された共振パラメータが、前記RFIDセンサの等価回路に関する前記RFIDセンサの共振応答から計算されたパラメータを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記環境の物理的、化学的及び生物学的特性を定量化する段階が、前記RFIDセンサのメモリチップ内に記憶された係数を含む伝達関数を通して、前記検知特性を前記RFIDセンサの選択された共振パラメータに関連付けることを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 電力レベルの範囲が所定の閾値よりも狭いときは、前記選択されたパラメータが、複素インピーダンス応答から計算されたパラメータの1群から構成され、電力レベルの範囲が所定の閾値よりも狭くないときは、前記選択されたパラメータが、複素インピーダンス応答から計算されたパラメータの別の群から構成される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記特性に対応する信号に関して、ガンマ線照射の前後のそれぞれの信号の値からガンマ線の線量が決定される、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記検知された特性を定量化する段階が、前記特性に対応する信号に関する信号オフセット、信号ドリフト、信号ノイズ及びセンサ応答の勾配の1つ以上を調整する補正スキームを適用することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 所定の範囲の電力開始レベル及び共振回路パラメータを有するRFIDセンサ部品を使用して物理的、化学的及び生物学的特性を検知するように構成されたセンサシステムであって、
前記RFIDセンサ部品を用いて前記特性を検知する電子センサと、
前記センサから前記特性に対応する1つ以上の信号を読み取るインタロゲータユニットと、
前記センサ部品の活性化に必要な電力レベルの範囲が、前記所定の範囲の電力開始レベルよりも狭いか否かを識別するとともに、前記センサ部品のガンマ線への暴露によって前記センサの活性化に必要な電力レベルの範囲の変化が起こったか否かを判定し、かつ前記センサの活性化に必要な電力レベルの範囲に基づいて選択された共振パラメータを使用して、検知された特性を定量化するための比較器ユニットと
を備える、センサシステム。
