Claims (4)
- 遠位端および近位端を有し、熱可塑性樹脂製の外層、および外層の内側にある内層で形成され、外層内に埋設された、長さが0.5〜3.0mmの筒状のX線造影マーカを遠位端近傍に備えるカテーテル管で構成されるカテーテルの製造方法であって、
カテーテル管の内層を形成する部材である熱可塑性樹脂製の内層管の遠位端近傍のX線造影マーカが備えられるべき部分に、熱可塑性樹脂製で筒状の溶着用部材を内層管に直接接するように被せる第一の工程と、
第一の工程で内層管に被せた溶着用部材上に、X線不透過材料で形成された筒状のX線造影マーカを被せる第二の工程と、
第二の工程でX線造影マーカを被せた内層管に、溶着用部材を形成する熱可塑性樹脂と同一の熱可塑性樹脂製の熱収縮管であって、カテーテル管の外層を形成する部材である外層管を被せ、当該外層管を加熱することによって、外層管を熱収縮させて、その熱収縮力によって、内層管を締め付けて内層管と外層管とを接合させ、さらに外層管と溶着用部材とを熱溶着して、これらの間にX線造影マーカが埋まるように外層管と溶着用部材とを一体化させる第三の工程と、
を有してなるカテーテルの製造方法。 - 溶着用部材の長さが、X線造影マーカの長さよりも1.0〜5.0mm長いものである請求項1に記載のカテーテルの製造方法。
- カテーテル管が、さらに、溶着用部材よりも近位端側であって、内層と外層との層間に埋設された編組体を備える請求項1または2に記載のカテーテルの製造方法。
- カテーテルが、ステントデリバリー用カテーテルである請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のカテーテルの製造方法。
