Description
本願発明は、2012年7月23日に出願された豪州出願公開第2012903137号の優先権を主張するものであり、その開示事項は参照物として本願に組み込まれる。
前記ソーラーパネルの受光領域を十分な厚みのコーティング組成物でコーティングするステップであって、コーティング組成物は、結果として前記ソーラーパネルの電気出力が所定レベルより小さくなるまで低減されるように光電池に届く光量を低減するように適合された、ステップを備える。
結合剤;及び、
乳白剤;
を備え、
乳白剤は、ソーラーパネルの結果と生じる電気出力が所定レベルより小さくなるまで低減されるように、組成物の所定の膜厚が組成物を通過する光透過を低減するのに十分な量含まれる。
大量のコーティング組成物を保持するための容器;
コーティング組成物のスプレーまたは噴流を送り出すための送出しノズル;及び、
送出しノズルを介して容器からコーティング組成物をくみ上げるためのポンプ;
を備え、
ポンプ及び送出しノズルは、コーティング組成物が、比較的拘束された噴流またはスプレーの集中射撃として、かつ、少なくとも2mの距離まで送り出し可能なように構成される、装置を提供する。容器、送出しノズル、及びポンプは、流体連通する。
受光領域上にコートされる際にソーラーパネルへの光透過を低減するように適合されたコーティング組成物;
大量のコーティング組成物を保持するための容器;
コーティング組成物のスプレーまたは噴流を送り出すための送出しノズル;及び、
容器からコーティング組成物をくみ上げ、送出しノズルを介して出すためのポンプ;
を備え、
ポンプ及び送出しノズルは、コーティング組成物が、比較的拘束された噴流またはスプレーの集中射撃として、かつ、少なくとも2mの距離まで送り出し可能なように構成される、システムを提供する。
便利な表面張力変更剤は、Air Products and Chemicals社から入手可能なSurfynol(登録商標)104及びSurfynol(登録商標)TGとの商品名で取引されるこれらのものを含む。
大量のコーティング組成物を保持するための加圧可能容器;及び、
コーティング組成物のスプレーまたは噴流を送り出すための、容器と流体連通する送出しノズル; を備え、
容器は加圧可能であり、これにより、コーティング組成物が、比較的拘束された噴流またはスプレーの集中射撃として、かつ、少なくとも2mの距離まで送り出し可能であることを特徴とする装置を提供する。

b)ソーラーパネルの電気出力を測定するステップ、
を備え、
結果とし生じるソーラーパネルの電気出力が、所定レベルより小さくなるまで低減されてない場合は、次いで、a)及びb)が、電気出力が所定レベルより小さくなるまで繰り返されることを特徴とする方法を提供する。
本願発明を説明し、請求する中で、以下の用語が、下記に記載される定義に従って使用されるだろう。本願で使用される用語は、本発明の特定の実施形態を説明する目的のみのためであり、限定する意向はないことが理解されるべきである。定義されてない限り、本願で使われる全ての技術的かつ科学的用語は、本発明に関係する当業者によって一般的に理解されるのと同じ意味を有する。
Claims (11)
- ソーラーパネルの光電池によって受容されている光量を低減するために設置された前記ソーラーパネルをコーティングする方法であって、当該方法は、前記ソーラーパネルの受光領域を十分な厚みのコーティング組成物でコーティングするステップであって、前記コーティング組成物が、前記ソーラーパネルの受光領域を透過する光を低減させるように結合剤及び十分な量の乳白剤を備え、結果として前記ソーラーパネルの電気出力が所定レベルより小さくなるまで低減される、コーティングするステップを備え、
前記コーティングするステップは、修理前または修理中、洪水状況前または洪水状況中、電気事故前または電気事故中、あるいは、火災状況前、火災状況中、又は火災の状況後になされる、方法。 - 前記コーティングの厚みは、50〜150ミクロンであり、これにより、光透過を入射光の0.1%より小さくなるまで低減することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 結果として生じる電気出力は、コーティングを塗布しないソーラーパネルの電気出力と比較して電気出力の1%より小さくなるまで低減されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 結果として生じる電気出力は、電流で測定され、コートされていないパネルの電流の0.20%より小さくなるまで低減される;または、
結果として生じる電気出力は、電圧で測定され、コートされていないパネルの電圧の20%より小さくなるまで低減される;または、
結果として生じる電気出力は、ワット数で測定され、コートされていないパネルのワット数の0.10%より小さくなるまで低減される;
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - コーティングが硬化した場合に、コーティング組成物が塗布されたソーラーパネル及び任意の周辺の構造物から安易にコーティングが剥がされるように、前記コーティング組成物が離型剤を含む;または、
前記コーティング組成物は、難燃添加剤を含むように配合される;または、
コーティングが日光において6週間に亘って劣化しないように、前記コーティング組成物がUV安定剤を含むように配合される;
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記コーティング組成物が、5重量%〜20重量%の前記乳白剤を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記乳白剤は、二酸化チタン、炭酸カルシウム、酸化亜鉛、タルカムパウダー、カーボンブラック、及び、これらの任意の組み合わせから成る群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記結合剤が、水溶性ポリマー、分散液、エマルジョン、及び、ラテックスから成る群から選ばれる水性結合剤であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング組成物は、UV抑制剤を含まないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング組成物は、付着性シートとして前記ソーラーパネルから除去されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 設置されたソーラーパネルを電気無効化する方法であって、当該方法は、
a)前記ソーラーパネルの光電池に届く光量を低減するようにコーティング組成物で前記ソーラーパネルの受光領域をコーティングするステップであって、前記コーティング組成物が結合剤及び乳白剤を備え、これにより、前記コーティング組成物の膜が前記ソーラーパネルの受光領域を透過する光を低減させる、ステップ、及び、
b)前記ソーラーパネルの電気出力を測定するステップ、
を備え、
結果として生じる前記ソーラーパネルの前記電気出力が、所定レベルより小さくなるまで低減されてない場合は、次いで、a)及びb)が、前記電気出力が前記所定レベルより小さくなるまで繰り返され、前記コーティングするステップは、修理前または修理中、洪水状況前または洪水状況中、電気事故前または電気事故中、あるいは、火災状況前または火災状況中、又は火災の状況後になされることを特徴とする方法。
