Description
前記高角度ベルト層のスチールコードが、2本以上のコアフィラメントを並列に配置してなるコア部と、該コア部の周りに撚り合わされた複数本のシースフィラメントからなるシース部と、を含む層撚り構造を有するか、または、モノフィラメント若しくはモノフィラメントを束ねた束からなり、
前記高角度ベルト層に含まれる単位面積あたりのスチールコードの質量が、前記交錯ベルト層に含まれる単位面積あたりのスチールコードの質量の85%以下であり、かつ、
前記高角度ベルト層のスチールコードの長手方向に直交する断面における単位面積当たりの圧縮剛性が、前記交錯ベルト層のスチールコードの長手方向に直交する断面における単位面積当たりの圧縮剛性より大きいことを特徴とするものである。
図1は、本発明のタイヤの一構成例を示す幅方向断面図である。図示するタイヤ10は、一対のビード部11と、それに連なる一対のサイドウォール部12と、両サイドウォール部12間に跨るトレッド部13とからなり、ビード部11内にそれぞれ埋設された一対のビードコア1間にまたがってトロイド状に延在するカーカスプライ2を骨格とする。
タイヤサイズ11R22.5にて、各実施例および比較例の重荷重用タイヤを作製した。カーカスプライのクラウン部タイヤ半径方向外側には、内層側から順次、タイヤ赤道面に対し、右50°のコード角度の1層の高角度ベルト層と、右20°、左20°の2層の交錯ベルト層、および、左20°のベルト層を配置した。高角度ベルト層および交錯ベルト層には、それぞれ下記の表中に示すコード構造のスチールコードを用いた。また、ベルト層には、交錯ベルト層と同様のスチールコードを用いた。
各ベルト層のスチールコードの長手方向に直交する断面における単位面積当たりの圧縮剛性は、以下のようにして評価した。図3に示すように、各ベルト層を構成するスチールコード21を30mmの幅に10本打ち込んだトリート22を、コード中心間の間隔が3mmになるように2枚平行に重ねて、コード長手方向に沿い、長さが200mmであるサンプル20を作製した。このサンプル20を、図4に示すように、サンプル20の長手方向の中心部から2つの支点31までの距離が同じとなるように配置し、JIS K 7074に準拠した3点曲げ試験にて、支点31間距離60mmで、垂直方向上方から下方に向かい、圧子32で水平位置から0〜5mm押し込んだ際の反力を評価して、圧縮剛性とした。なお、支点半径は2.0mm、圧子半径は5.0mmであった。
得られた各供試タイヤに内圧900kPaを充填し、ドラム試験機にて速度60km/hで50,000km走行させた後のタイヤの周長を測定した。各タイヤについて、ドラム走行前の内圧100kPa充填時における周長から何%伸びたかを算出し、従来例を100とする指数で示した。数値が小さいほど、走行後の形成長が小さく、良好である。

Claims (2)
- タイヤ赤道面に対し10°〜30°の角度で傾斜して延びるスチールコードのゴム引き層を、少なくとも一部の層間で、コード方向が互いに交差するよう配置してなる2層以上の交錯ベルト層と、該交錯ベルト層より5°以上大きな角度で傾斜して延びるスチールコードのゴム引き層からなる高角度ベルト層と、を備えるタイヤであって、
前記高角度ベルト層のスチールコードが、2本以上のコアフィラメントを並列に配置してなるコア部と、該コア部の周りに撚り合わされた複数本のシースフィラメントからなるシース部と、を含む層撚り構造を有するか、または、モノフィラメント若しくはモノフィラメントを束ねた束からなり、
前記高角度ベルト層に含まれる単位面積あたりのスチールコードの質量が、前記交錯ベルト層に含まれる単位面積あたりのスチールコードの質量の85%以下であり、かつ、
前記高角度ベルト層のスチールコードの長手方向に直交する断面における単位面積当たりの圧縮剛性が、前記交錯ベルト層のスチールコードの長手方向に直交する断面における単位面積当たりの圧縮剛性より大きいことを特徴とするタイヤ。 - 前記モノフィラメントの長手方向に直交する断面形状が扁平である請求項1記載のタイヤ。
