(ただし、Lはコード材料1本を2%伸張させた時に発生する力(N)、nはビード補強材1本当たりに配されたコードの本数(本)、dはタイヤ周方向に隣合う前記ビード補強材の、該ビード補強材の長さ方向と直交する方向での離間距離(mm)、wはビード補強材の幅(mm)、αはビード補強材のタイヤ周方向に対する角度(°)である。)
図1には、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1(以下、単に「タイヤ」ということがある。)の正規状態におけるタイヤ回転軸を含むタイヤ子午線断面図が示される。

ただし、Lはコード材料1本を2%伸張させた時に発生する力(N)、nはビード補強材1本当たりに含まれるコード材料の本数(本)、dは図5で示されるように、タイヤ周方向に隣合うビード補強材15の、該ビード補強材15の長さ方向と直交する方向での離間距離(mm)、wはビード補強材15の幅(mm)、αはビード補強材15のタイヤ周方向に対するリード角(°)である。
下記条件にて試作タイヤがテスト車両に装着され、ドライアスファルトのタイヤテストコースを走行した際の操縦安定性及び乗り心地性が、ドライバーの官能評価により評価された。結果は、実施例1の操縦安定性及び乗り心地性を夫々75点とする100点法で表示され、数値が大きい程良好である。

テスト車両:排気量2000ccの国産乗用車
タイヤ装着位置:全輪
タイヤ200本を生産したときのビード部に発生したエア残り不良の不良率が測定された。結果は、生産本数に対する不良タイヤの本数の割合であり、数値が大きい程不良率が大きいことを示す。
テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (6)
- トレッド部からサイドウォール部をへてビード部のビードコアに至るカーカスと、前記ビードコアからタイヤ半径方向外側に先細状にのびる断面略三角形状のビードエーペックスゴムとを具えた空気入りタイヤであって、
前記ビードエーペックスゴム、又は、前記ビードエーペックスゴムと前記ビードコアとの複合体の回りに螺旋状に巻回されたビード補強材を具え、
前記ビード補強材は、前記ビードエーペックスゴムよりも柔らかいトッピングゴムの内部に、前記ビード補強材の長さ方向にのびる有機繊維コードを含むテープ状のプライであることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記ビード補強材は、前記ビードコアを含まずに前記ビードエーペックスゴムの回りに巻回される請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ビード補強材は、前記複合体の回りに巻回される請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ビード補強材は、タイヤ周方向に対する角度であるリード角αが30〜85°で巻回される請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ビード補強材は、厚さが1.5mm以下のシート状である請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ビード補強材は、長さ方向に直交する幅が3〜30mmである請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
