制御部は、第1電源よりも低電圧である第2電源(21)からの電力により動作する上位制御装置からのモータの駆動状態指令値に基づいて、駆動回路部へのPWM信号を出力するものであり、
動作電圧生成部は、第1電源および第2電源のいずれからの給電によっても動作電圧を生成可能であり、
動作電圧生成部は、駆動回路部および制御部が消費する消費電力の総和分を、第1電源および第2電源の両者から供給される電力により賄うものであり、第1電源および第2電源からの供給電力の割合が電圧変換効率に基づいて設定されることを特徴としている。

- 複数相のモータコイルを有するモータの前記複数相に対応して設けられたスイッチング素子と、前記スイッチング素子と並列に設けられた平滑コンデンサ(70)とを有するインバータ回路(40)と、
前記インバータ回路へ動作信号を出力して、前記スイッチング素子を駆動する駆動回路部(102)と、
前記駆動回路部をPWM制御して前記スイッチング素子にスイッチング動作を行なわせる制御部(101)と、
前記駆動回路部および前記制御部の動作電圧を生成して前記駆動回路部および前記制御部に対して電力供給を行なう動作電圧生成部(105、106、107、105A)と、を備えるモータ駆動装置であって、
前記インバータ回路は、前記スイッチング素子をスイッチング動作して、第1電源(20)からの直流電圧をPWM変調により交流電圧に変換して前記複数相のモータコイルへ出力する回路であり、

前記動作電圧生成部は、前記駆動回路部および前記制御部が消費する消費電力の総和分を、前記第1電源および前記第2電源の両者から供給される電力により賄うものであり、前記第1電源および前記第2電源からの供給電力の割合が電圧変換効率に基づいて設定されることを特徴とするモータ駆動装置。 - 前記動作電圧生成部は、前記駆動回路部が消費する消費電力を前記第1電源から供給される電力により賄い、前記制御部が消費する消費電力を前記第2電源から供給される電力により賄うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモータ駆動装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記モータを停止する際に、前記平滑コンデンサから電荷を放電する放電制御動作を行なうことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のモータ駆動装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記放電制御動作を、前記第1電源から前記インバータ回路へ給電するための母線(30)から供給される電力により行なうように、前記動作電圧生成部を制御することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のモータ駆動装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記放電制御動作を行なうときには、前記インバータ回路、前記駆動回路部、前記制御部および前記動作電圧生成部の少なくともいずれかの消費電力を、前記放電制御動作を開始する前よりも増大させることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のモータ駆動装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記放電制御動作を所定時間継続しても前記平滑コンデンサからの電荷の放電が完了しない場合には、前記放電制御動作を中止することを特徴とする請求項3から請求項5のいずれか1つに記載のモータ駆動装置。
- 前記モータが駆動する負荷は、車両に搭載された冷凍サイクルの冷媒を吸入して圧縮する圧縮機構(11)であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1つに記載のモータ駆動装置。
