Description
Claims (10)
- 車両のステアリングホイールまたは座席用のヒータ10兼センサ20であって、
a)発熱層、感知層、またはこの両方と、
b)1つ以上の電力印加部12、前記感知層によりもたらされる感知機能を検出し得る1つ以上の感知部、またはこの両方と、
を備え、
前記発熱層と前記感知層とは同じ平面内に配置され、
前記発熱層は、複数の金属被膜繊維で構成された不織層によって形成され、前記複数 の金属被膜繊維は、電力の印加により前記発熱層がほぼ均一な発熱及び均一な熱密度を供給するように、前記複数の金属被膜繊維のうちの約60パーセント以下が同じ方向になる ように配列されており、
前記発熱層と前記感知層とは同じ装置であり、
前記ヒータは、追加の感知要素を一切追加することなくセンサとして機能し得る、
ヒータ10兼センサ20。 - 前記ヒータはパルス幅変調を用いて制御され、前記ヒータがオフのとき、感知を行うために、信号が前記感知層を通過する請求項1に記載のヒータ兼センサ。
- 前記1つ以上の電力印加部12は、前記発熱層、前記感知層、またはこの両方に固締された導電性不織布であり、前記1つ以上の電力印加部は前記ヒータの両端の縁端領域に配置された2つの電力印加部である請求項1または2に記載のヒータ兼センサ。
- 前記ヒータが熱を供給するように前記ヒータに通電するためにヒータ制御装置が前記ヒータに接続され、前記センサが感知を行うように信号を供給するために感知制御装置が前記センサに接続され、前記感知制御装置と前記ヒータ制御装置とは1本以上の線を介して前記ヒータ兼センサに接続され、前記1本以上の線は前記ヒータへの電圧の印加および前記センサへの信号の供給の両方を行う請求項1または2に記載のヒータ兼センサ。
- 前記ヒータ兼センサは車両の座席内に配置されてトリム層によって覆われる、または前記ヒータ兼センサはステアリングホイール内に配置されてトリム層によって覆われる、またはこの両方である請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のヒータ兼センサ。
- 前記センサは、乗員と前記ヒータ兼センサとの間の接触、乗員と前記ヒータ兼センサを含む構成要素との間の接触、またはこの両方、または乗員の存在、またはこの両方を判定する請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のヒータ兼センサ。
- 前記感知制御装置によって供給された前記信号は周波数を有し、前記感知制御装置は、乗員が前記ヒータ兼センサに接触しているか、前記ヒータ兼センサを含む構成要素に接触しているか、またはこの両方であるかを判定するために、前記信号の周波数偏移を測定する請求項4に記載のヒータ兼センサ。
- 方法であって、
a)請求項1に記載のヒータ10兼センサ20を自動車の構成要素に設置することと、
b)前記ヒータ兼センサの前記発熱層が発熱するように、前記ヒータ兼センサに電力を供給することと、
c)乗員の存在、前記乗員と前記自動車の前記構成要素との間の接触、またはこの両方を判定するために前記ヒータ兼センサの前記感知層が信号を発生させるように、信号を前記ヒータ兼センサに供給することと、
d)乗員、乗員の不在、前記構成要素と前記乗員との間の接触の欠如、またはこれらの組み合わせのために、前記信号を監視することと、
を含み、
前記電力と前記信号とは線を介して前記ヒータ兼センサに印加され、前記線は前記信号および前記電力の両方に同じ線である
方法。 - 前記電力がオンフェーズとオフフェーズとを有するように前記電力はパルス幅変調によって印加され、前記信号は、前記電力が前記オフフェーズのときに、前記ヒータ兼センサに印加される請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記信号は周波数を含み、乗員の存在、前記乗員と前記ヒータ兼センサとの間の接触、またはこの両方を判定するために、感知制御装置が前記周波数、前記周波数の偏移、前記信号の静電容量、測定対象電圧、またはこれらの組み合わせを測定する請求項8または9に記載の方法。
