Claims (7)
- エンジンの燃焼室内の混合気に点火する多点点火装置であって、
内周が前記燃焼室に臨むように環状に形成される絶縁部材と、
前記絶縁部材に保持され、前記燃焼室内の周方向に複数の点火ギャップを形成する複数の電極と、を備え、
前記絶縁部材は、分割して形成される複数の分割絶縁部材を備え、
前記エンジンの吸気バルブに近い前記分割絶縁部材は、前記エンジンの排気バルブに近い前記分割絶縁部材と比較して熱伝導率が高い、
ことを特徴とする多点点火装置。 - 請求項1に記載の多点点火装置であって、
前記電極は、
一対設けられる側方電極と、
前記側方電極の間に設けられ、前記複数の点火ギャップを形成する複数の中間電極と、を有し、
前記中間電極は、前記絶縁部材から前記燃焼室内に突出して、その全長にわたって前記燃焼室内に露出する、
ことを特徴とする多点点火装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の多点点火装置であって、
前記複数の分割絶縁部材は、各々が前記電極を保持する、
ことを特徴とする多点点火装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか一つに記載の多点点火装置であって、
前記分割絶縁部材は、環状の前記絶縁部材が周方向に分割されて形成される、
ことを特徴とする多点点火装置。 - 請求項4に記載の多点点火装置であって、
隣接する前記分割絶縁部材の継ぎ目に臨むように前記点火ギャップが形成される、
ことを特徴とする多点点火装置。 - エンジンの燃焼室内の混合気に点火する多点点火装置であって、
内周が前記燃焼室に臨むように環状に形成される絶縁部材と、
前記絶縁部材に保持され、前記燃焼室内の周方向に複数の点火ギャップを形成する複数の電極と、を備え、
前記絶縁部材は、
環状に形成される環状絶縁部材と、
分割して形成される複数の分割絶縁部材と、を有し、
前記複数の分割絶縁部材は、各々が前記電極を保持し、前記環状絶縁部材の内周面に形成される挿入孔に挿入される、
ことを特徴とする多点点火装置。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか一つに記載の多点点火装置を備える多点点火エンジン。
