図1〜図4を用いて、本発明の第1実施形態の内視鏡10について説明する。
すなわち、内視鏡10は、滅菌処理を行っても軟性部11Cの内部の湿度が上昇にしくいため、撮像光学系21のレンズ23が曇るおそれがない。
比較例1である内視鏡10A(不図示)は、内視鏡10と略同じ構成であるが、外皮が、バリア層を含まず、50μm厚のウレタン樹脂チューブだけ構成されている。撮像ユニットの内部空間は樹脂で封止した。内視鏡10Aは、高負荷試験(高温高湿試験)においてレンズの曇りが観察された。
比較例2である内視鏡10B(不図示)は、外皮が最外層の樹脂層の内側に単層の金属バリア層を有する。具体的には、挿入部をポリウレタンからなる膜厚3μmのチューブ(下地樹脂層)で被覆し、下地樹脂層の表面に膜厚1μmの金属アルミニウム層(バリア膜)を成膜し、金属アルミニウム層を50μm厚のウレタン層(樹脂層)で覆った。
比較例3である内視鏡10C(不図示)は、外皮が最外層の樹脂層の内側に金属酸化物からなる単層のバリア層を有する。具体的には、膜厚3μmのウレタンチューブの上に膜厚500nmの酸化アルミニウム層を成膜し、酸化アルミニウム層の上に最外層の樹脂層を配設した。内視鏡10Cも、800回の低温プラズマ滅菌処理後には、高温高湿試験により、レンズの曇りが発生することがあった。
変形例1の内視鏡10Cは、外皮50が、最外層の樹脂層51と、樹脂層51の内側に配設されたバリア膜52と、厚さ2μmの下地樹脂層55と、を含む。バリア膜52は、スズ酸化物からなる厚さ100nmの第1のバリア層53と金属スズからなる厚さ4μmの第2のバリア層54とが積層されている。

Claims (10)
- 複数のレンズを含む撮像光学系を有する撮像ユニットが配設されている先端部と、前記先端部から延設された前記先端部の方向を変えるための湾曲部と、前記湾曲部から延設された軟性部と、を有する挿入部と、
前記挿入部の基端側に配設された操作部と、を具備する内視鏡であって、
前記軟性部の表面が外皮に覆われており、
前記外皮が、最外層の樹脂層と前記樹脂層の内側に配設された積層バリア膜とを有し、
前記積層バリア膜が、金属酸化物からなる第1のバリア層と前記第1のバリア層の内側に配設された金属からなる第2のバリア層とを含むことを特徴とする内視鏡。 - 前記金属および前記金属酸化物のそれぞれが、Sn、Al、Ti、Zn、Si、V、Cr、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Zr、Nb、In、Hf、Y、Ta、W、Re、W、Os、Ir、Pt、Au、Bi、La、Gd、およびLuから選ばれる1種以上を主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記金属および前記金属酸化物のそれぞれが、Sn、Al、Ti、およびZnから選ばれる1種以上を主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記第1のバリア層と前記第2のバリア層とが同じ前記金属を主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記第1のバリア層と前記第2のバリア層とが、Sn、AlまたはTiを主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記積層バリア膜が、前記第1のバリア層から前記第2のバリア層に組成が連続的に変化する組成傾斜膜であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記第1のバリア層の厚さが、前記第2のバリア層の厚さの、1/50以上1/2以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記撮像光学系の一部のレンズが光軸方向に移動可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記撮像ユニットの複数の部材間が樹脂により封止されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡。
- 前記積層バリア膜が、大気圧プラズマ法により連続成膜されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡。
