Description
本願は、2012年8月27日に出願された「車両トリムコンポーネント内にエアバッグシュートアセンブリを取り付けるシステムと方法」との名称の米国仮特許出願第61/693,634号の優先権及び利益を主張する。その全体がここに参照として組み入れられる。
Claims (12)
- 開口を通って展開するように構成されたエアバッグを与えるエアバッグモジュールを支持するべく構成された車両トリムコンポーネントであって、
表側面及び裏側面を与えるパネルと、
前記パネルの前記裏側面に形成された構造物と、
前記パネル及び前記構造物に結合された支持部と
を含み、
前記構造物は前記エアバッグモジュール及び前記パネルを支持するべく構成され、
前記パネルは、前記エアバッグが前記パネルを通って展開する、ドアの付いた開口を確立するべく構成された凹みを含み、
前記ドアの付いた開口は前記エアバッグモジュールからの前記エアバッグの展開のときに前記凹みにおいて前記エアバッグによってもたらされ、
前記支持部は、前記エアバッグの展開中に前記ドアを前記パネルに固定するべく構成される車両トリムコンポーネント。 - 前記パネルは少なくとも一部が繊維から形成される請求項1の車両トリムコンポーネント。
- 前記構造物は、前記エアバッグモジュールを前記車両トリムコンポーネントに固定するべく構成され、
前記構造物は、前記エアバッグの展開中に前記エアバッグを前記パネルへと向けるように構成され、
前記構造物は、前記パネルを補強するべく構成される請求項1の車両トリムコンポーネント。 - 前記ドアは、前記凹みに隣接して開口した前記構造物から少なくとも一つのフラップとして開くべく構成され、かつ、前記エアバッグの展開時に開くべく構成される請求項1の車両トリムコンポーネント。
- 前記ドアは前記構造物にヒンジ結合されて前記凹みにおいて開口する請求項4の車両トリムコンポーネント。
- 前記ドアは、前記支持部を前記ドアに固定するべく構成された樹脂特徴部を含む請求項1の車両トリムコンポーネント。
- 前記凹み内に形成されて前記エアバッグの展開を容易にするべく構成された樹脂特徴部を含む請求項1の車両トリムコンポーネント。
- エアバッグを与えるエアバッグモジュールを支持するべく構成された車両トリムコンポーネントを製造する方法であって、
繊維パネルを金型キャビティ内に配置することと、
前記繊維パネルを前記金型キャビティ内で圧縮することと、
前記金型キャビティ内に樹脂を射出して前記繊維パネルの側面に取り付け構造物を形成することと
を含み、
前記取り付け構造物は前記エアバッグモジュールを支持するべく構成される方法。 - 前記繊維パネルの一部を前記金型キャビティ内で圧縮して、前記エアバッグの展開を容易にするべく構成された前記繊維パネルの表面内の凹みを形成する請求項8の方法。
- 前記エアバッグの展開を容易にするべく構成された前記凹みの中に樹脂特徴部を形成するべく前記金型キャビティ内に樹脂を射出することをさらに含む請求項9の方法。
- 前記繊維パネルの前記側面に織物支持部を配置することをさらに含み、
前記樹脂は前記織物支持部を(a)前記繊維パネル及び(b)前記取り付け構造物の少なくとも一方に固定し、
前記織物支持部は、前記エアバッグの展開中に前記繊維パネルにドアを固定するべく構成される請求項8の方法。 - 前記金型キャビティ内に樹脂を射出して前記ドアの表面に樹脂特徴部を形成することをさらに含み、
前記樹脂特徴部は前記織物支持部を前記ドアに固定するべく構成される請求項11の方法。
