Claims (7)
- (a)絶縁性材料から成るハウジングと、導電性材料から成り、前記ハウジングに装着される端子とを有するコネクタであって、
(b)前記端子は、前記ハウジングに保持される平板状の基部と、該基部の長手方向の一端に接続された弾性変形可能な第1接触部材と、前記基部の長手方向の端部に接続された弾性変形可能な第2接触部材とを備え、
(c)前記第1接触部材は、上下方向に弾性的に変位可能な第1接触部を備え、
(d)前記第2接触部材は、上下方向に弾性的に変位可能な第2接触部を備え、
(e)前記ハウジングは、前面寄りの前半部と、後面寄りの後半部とを結合して形成され、前記前半部と後半部との結合部は、前記ハウジングの前後方向の中心から外れた位置にあることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記基部は一体的に形成されたフィン部材を備え、
該フィン部材は、前記基部の表面に対して鉛直な方向、かつ、前記基部の幅方向と交差する方向に延在する平板状の部材であって、前記ハウジングの結合部に対応する位置にある請求項1に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記端子は、前記基部の長手方向の両端部に接続された一対の前記第2接触部材を備える請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1接触部材は、前記基部に接続された第1湾曲部と、該第1湾曲部に基端が接続された第1直腕部とを更に備え、前記第1接触部は前記第1直腕部の先端に接続され、
前記第2接触部材は、前記基部に接続された第2湾曲部と、該第2湾曲部に基端が接続された第2直腕部とを更に備え、前記第2接触部は前記第2直腕部の先端に接続されている請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記ハウジングは、該ハウジングの幅方向に並んで配設され、前記端子を収容する複数の収容凹部を備え、
該収容凹部の各々は、前記第1接触部材を収容する第1収容部と、前記第2接触部材を収容する第2収容部と、前記第1収容部と第2収容部とを連通する連通部とを備え、
前記第1収容部と第2収容部とは、前記ハウジングの幅方向に並んで配設されている請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記ハウジングは、天面から前記第1収容部まで貫通する第1開口と、前面及び後面から前記第2収容部まで貫通する第2開口とを備え、
前記第1接触部は、前記第1開口を通して露出し、前記天面の上方に位置する第1相手方接触部材と接触し、
前記第2接触部は、前記第2開口を通して挿入される第2相手方接触部材と接触する請求項5に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記ハウジングに装着される端子補助部材を更に有し、
該端子補助部材は、前記ハウジングに保持される平板状の基部と、該基部に形成された突片部とを備え、該突片部が前記第2接触部に対向するように前記第2収容部内に配設される請求項5又は6に記載のコネクタ。
