Claims (6)
- 車幅方向に延びる車輪ハブを回転自在に支持する車輪ハブ軸受部、前記車輪ハブを駆動するモータ部、および前記モータ部の出力回転を減速して前記車輪ハブ軸受部に伝達する減速部とを備え、
前記減速部は、前記モータ部のモータ回転軸と結合する入力軸、前記車輪ハブと結合して前記入力軸と平行に延びる出力軸、前記入力軸および前記出力軸と平行に延びる1つ以上の中間軸、前記入力軸と結合する入力歯車、前記出力軸と結合する出力歯車、および前記中間軸と結合する複数の中間歯車を含み、前記入力歯車と前記複数の中間歯車と前記出力歯車とが互いに噛合して前記入力歯車から前記複数の中間歯車を経て前記出力歯車に至る駆動伝達経路を構成し、
前記複数の中間歯車のうち少なくとも1つの中間歯車の径が前記出力歯車の径よりも大きい、インホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記複数の中間歯車は、前記出力歯車と噛合する最終中間歯車、および前記最終中間歯車と同軸に結合する他の中間歯車を含み、前記他の中間歯車の径が出力歯車の径よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記出力軸の軸線、前記最終中間歯車および前記他の中間歯車の軸線、および前記入力歯車の軸線が、この順序で車両前後方向に間隔を空けて配置される、請求項2に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記中間軸を複数有し、
前記出力歯車、前記最終中間歯車、前記他の中間歯車と噛合するさらに他の中間歯車、および前記入力歯車は、この順序で径が小さくなる、請求項3に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記出力歯車の径よりも大きな中間歯車の軸線が、前記出力歯車の軸線よりも上方にオフセットして配置される、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記入力歯車の軸線が、前記出力歯車の軸線よりも車両前後方向にオフセットして配置される、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
