Description
Claims (2)
- 所定温度以上で活性化してエンジンの燃焼ガスの酸素濃度を計測するO2センサ(12)と、
前記O2センサ(12)の温度を推測検知するO2センサ温度推定手段(22)と、
前記O2センサ(12)の出力電圧(V)および前記O2センサ温度推定手段(22)が推測検知した温度に基づいて前記O2センサ(12)の故障診断をするO2センサ故障診断手段(23)とを有するO2センサの故障診断装置において、
前記O2センサ温度推定手段(22)は、前記エンジンの冷却水の冷却水温(TW)に基づいて前記O2センサ(12)の温度を推測検知し、
前記O2センサ故障診断手段(23)は、前記冷却水温(TW)が第1所定温度(TW1)以下で、かつ前記O2センサ(12)の出力電圧(V)が前記活性化状態で検知される値であると、前記O2センサ(12)に故障が生じていると診断し、
前記エンジンを停止してからO2センサ(12)が不活性化状態に移行するまでの時間は、前記冷却水温(TW)が前記第1所定温度(TW1)より大きい第2所定温度(TW2)から前記第1所定温度(TW1)に下がるまでの時間より短くなるように設定されており、
前記O2センサ(12)の故障診断が完了すると成立する診断済フラグ(25)を保存する不揮発メモリ(24)を備え、
前記O2センサ故障診断手段(23)は、前記不揮発メモリ(24)に前記診断済フラグ(25)が保存されている間は前記O2センサ(12)の故障診断を実行せず、
前記O2センサ故障診断手段(20)は、前記冷却水温(TW)が前記第1所定温度(TW1)より大きい第2所定温度(TW2)を超えると、前記診断済フラグ(25)を前記不揮発メモリ(24)から消去することを特徴とするO2センサの故障診断装置。 - 前記O2センサ(12)は、設定電圧である5Vにプルアップされることで、不活性化状態では前記設定電圧である5V寄りの値を出力すると共に、活性化状態になると0V寄りの値を出力するように構成されており、
前記O2センサ故障診断手段(23)は、前記故障診断の際に、前記O2センサ(12)の電圧出力(V)が0V寄りにあると前記O2センサ(12)の故障と診断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のO2センサの故障診断装置。
